Ceng Xiang is currently the director of the office of China Calligraphy Research Institute of China Academy of Art, the curator of the exhibition hall of China Calligraphy Research Institute, the tutor of master students of China Academy of Art, the researcher of China National Painting Academy, the tutor of Ceng Xiang Calligraphy Studio of China National Painting Academy, the deputy secretary-general of Beijing Publishing House, the deputy director of the Youth Working Committee of China Calligraphers Association, the vice president and secretary-general of Beijing Calligraphy and Painting Art Research Association, and the distinguished professor of Peking University, Tsinghua University, Central Academy of Fine Arts, and the training center of Chinese Calligraphers Association.
