Is Zhan Changji a direct disciple of Qi Baishi?

Zhan Changji is not a direct disciple of Qi Baishi.

Zhan Changji studied Chinese studies, poetry, calligraphy and painting with Mr. Wang Jixiang, the grandfather of Mr. Private School, and Mr. Wang Xuezhong, a famous scholar and painter. After that, he was admitted to China Academy of Fine Arts to study calligraphy and Chinese painting, and studied under Mr. Chen Zhenlian, Liu Jiang, He Shuifa, Wu Shanming and Master Zhang. He has successively worked in the Military Equipment Department of Wuhan Military Region, the Organization Department of jinan military area command, the Political Department of 5518/Army and the Science Newspaper of Shandong Provincial Committee, and engaged in secretarial and missionary work in Jinan financial system. After work, he made friends with people in the painting and calligraphy circles and entertained himself with poetry and painting.

Zhan Changji, also known as Zhan Changji,1was born in Tengzhou City, Shandong Province in June, 1966, Han nationality, bachelor degree. He is currently a member of China Poetry Society, Shandong Calligraphy Association, Artists Association, Provincial Calligraphy and Painting Society, China Finance Society and Artists Association, and a member of the flower-and-bird painting research group of Shandong Artists Association. Theoretical articles on painting and calligraphy and works of painting and calligraphy have been published in dozens of domestic media, including Zhan Changji's Painting and Calligraphy Art, Embracing Tutang Ink Art, Riverbed, Picturesque Years and other poems and paintings.
