Calligraphy questions: 1. What kinds of calligraphy styles are there in official script?

The official script is divided into ancient official script and modern official script.

Ancient Li: In December 1975, a large number of bamboo slips from the Qin Shihuang period were unearthed from the Shuihudi Qin Tomb in the west of Chengguan, Yunmeng County, Hubei Province. They can be said to be typical of Qin Li. This kind of official script that still contains elements of seal script is called Qin Li or Gu Li, and it is a transitional character from seal script. In the Western Han Dynasty, this kind of writing developed further, with seal script meaning becoming less and less and official script meaning becoming more and more. Both of these are ancient scribes.

Jinli: By the Eastern Han Dynasty, Jinli (sometimes called standard official script) was formed. The basic characteristics of standard official script are: the strokes are heavy and wavy; the strokes are often hidden and guarded; the points are like wooden wedges, vertical like pillars, and folded like a broken sword.
