In the 15th year of the Republic of China, he was admitted to the China Literature Department of the College of Literature of National Southeast University, where he studied under famous scholars such as Lishui, Qichun, Huang Jigang and Suzhou Wu, and made some progress in his studies.
After graduating from the Republic of China 19, he worked as a Chinese teacher in senior middle schools successively in Hefei No.6 Provincial Middle School, No.1 Provincial Temporary Middle School and No.8 Xiangxi Yongsui Ethnic Middle School.
1930 served as a lecturer for one year and an associate professor for three years in Lantian National Teachers College, Hunan Province.
