Prepare hard pen, manuscript paper and ink.
Hold the pen tightly so that the tip of the pen forms a 45-degree angle with the paper.
From left to right, press down the pen tip with appropriate force, leaving a horizontal line. Attention should be even, and the pen tip should not stay for too long, so as not to cause intermittent effects.
The two ends of the horizontal line are slightly thicker and look fuller.
Practice slowly and try to make each horizontal line look straight, neat and smooth.
When practicing, you can first draw the basic shape of the horizontal line with draft paper, and then slowly fill in the colors and details.
Hard pen horizontal is the foundation of hard pen calligraphy. For calligraphy lovers who learn other strokes, it will also be of great help if they practice writing horizontally.
