What is China's calligraphy?

Calligraphy is a unique and flexible writing tool in China, which is formed by artistic conception and mobilizing artistic techniques according to the characteristics of Chinese character modeling. Formally speaking, calligraphy focuses on expression, followed by form and quality. It can also be said that wisdom has no limit and its laws are uncertain. Those who have the spirit of the wind come first, and those who have the lack of morality come second. Mystery is what the ancients said: "the mystery lies between books and ghosts, out of the appearance and deep reasons of things." From its point of view, calligraphy art can be said to be a silent and invisible stage.

Calligraphy art has its own rules, such as paying attention to writing, wrist movement, pen, ink, structure, composition (distribution), charm and so on. Its artistic form is often to express thoughts, feelings and ideals through art, and it can also be described as "pen feeling and ink interest". Of course, although calligraphy contains some factors to express feelings, it must rely on some object-Chinese characters; For example, it tells stories and describes inner feelings like abstract literature, without the basic structure of Chinese characters and the essence of dotted lines, but it is similar to instrumental music. Instrumental music is composed of melody and harmony.

This clearly tells us that although the calligraphy art has different styles, its modeling * * * is a single ideographic form composed of points and lines, and points, lines or structural units have sufficient variability and expressiveness without violating the literal modeling law. Specifically, in the structural form of Sichuan calligraphy, truth, softness and density are dialectical relations of unity of opposites. This relationship endows the Chinese character plastic arts with aesthetic factors. Writing with a soft and elastic brush dipped in ink, following the law of modeling and using the variability of modeling elements endows the character structure with unique formal beauty. In this structural form, through the rhythm, frustration and urgency, a beautiful rhythm is produced. Especially in the text, through the dotted line of words, the dislocation of form and surface, the domination of left and right, the domination of oblique balance, the domination of scattered size, and the domination of static and dynamic retraction, that is, through the expression of static beauty and dynamic beauty, they are interdependent, mutually restricted, mutually called, mutually cared for, mutually generated and set off each other. In these visual images, paper presents an ever-changing dotted line, showing ups and downs of "potential" and radiant with artistic charm. The highest realm of calligraphy is the result of highly skilled use of "Dharma", that is, "the unattainable Dharma is mutual Dharma" and "any kind is extreme, if not arbitrary".

In fact, modern "hard pen calligraphy" is also quite popular, after all, practical! Times are always moving forward.
