Longmen Grottoes 1
Longmen Grottoes, one of the four largest grottoes in China, was founded in the Northern Wei Dynasty and has a history of more than 400 years. Two-thirds of the grottoes were built in the period of Wu Zetian, and the wisdom and culture of the ancients were condensed on cliffs as long as one kilometer. Now it is a world cultural heritage, and most grottoes are carved on the west bank of Yishui.
Longmen Grottoes are currently divided into four scenic spots, Xishan Grottoes-Dongshan Grottoes-Xiangshan Temple-Baiyuan, especially the Lushena Buddha in Fengxian Temple of Xishan Grottoes, which is the largest and most exquisite grottoes in Longmen Grottoes, with dignified manners and both form and spirit. There are also 20 Longmen, which are models of regular script art in the early Tang Dynasty-Chu Suiliang's calligraphy "The Essence of Weibei" and "A Que Buddhist Shrine Monument".
2. Yuntai Mountain Scenic Area
Yuntai Mountain is a fine scenic spot, with magnificent canyon landscape and magnificent waterscape of Taihang Mountain, including famous scenic spots such as Hongshi Gorge, Tanpu Gorge, Quanpu Gorge, Cornus officinalis Peak, Macaque Valley and Baijiayan. Among them, Hongshixia in the scenic spot has the reputation of bonsai canyon and is the essence of the whole Yuntai Mountain scenic spot. It can really be called a shrinking landscape world, an expanding art bonsai and even Hongyan.
Followed by Quanpu Gorge, Tanpu Gorge and Monkey Valley, and the highest peak of Yuntai Mountain Scenic Area-Cornus officinalis Peak, on which there are buildings such as Zhenwu Emperor Temple.
3. Laojun Mountain in Luoyang
Laojun Mountain, the main peak of Funiu Mountain, 800 miles from Qinling Mountain, is 2297 meters above sea level. It was named after Laozi, the ancestor of Taoism, lived in seclusion and practiced here. Since ancient times, it has been known as a famous mountain in the world. Known as Luoyang Summer Resort, the first of the eight scenic spots in Luanchuan, it is also the latest attraction among network celebrities. In the scenic area, it is suggested that Jin Dian and Taoist buildings should be built on the mountain, adopting the architectural form of the royal palace in the Ming Dynasty, which is magnificent.
4. Zhengzhou Shaolin Temple
Shaolin Temple, located in the dense jungle of Shaoshi Mountain in the hinterland of Songshan Mountain, is the birthplace of Zen Buddhism in China and Kung Fu in China. It is now a world cultural heritage. Shaolin Temple is a world-famous Buddhist temple and the ancestral home of Zen Buddhism in Han Dynasty. It occupies an important position in the history of Buddhism in China and is known as the first temple in the world.
There are three characters of Shaolin Temple inscribed by Emperor Kangxi of Qing Dynasty on the forehead of the main entrance, which are vigorous and delicate, adding a beautiful scenery to the main entrance. Shaolin Temple is not very big, but there are many scenic spots such as Tallinn-Anzu-Tianwang Hall-Ursa Major Hall-Tibetan Classics Pavilion.
5. Anyang Taihang Grand Canyon
Taihang Grand Canyon, also known as Linzhou Grand Canyon, is located at the junction of Shanxi and Henan provinces. On both sides are typical craggy rock landforms, patchwork terraces and strange valleys, which form the magnificent Grand Canyon scenery and are typical representatives of the northern landscape. Taihang Grand Canyon is divided into three scenic spots, Taohua Valley-Taihang Tianlu-Wangxiang Stone and so on. And Taihang Tianlu is the highest place in the scenic spot.
You can take sightseeing bus to the top of the mountain and overlook the magnificent scenery of Taihang Mountain. The peaks in the Peach Blossom Valley are abrupt and majestic, and a winding Peach Blossom Stream runs through the canyon, which is the most beautiful place in the whole scenic spot. There is a huge spiral staircase in Wangxiangshi, which is also a major feature of the scenic spot.
6. Mangdang Mountain in Shangqiu
Mangdang Mountain, a scenic spot of Han culture, is famous all over the world because of Liu Bang's snake-chopping uprising. Chen Sheng, the first peasant uprising leader in China, was buried here, which is located in Mangshan Town, yongcheng city, Henan Province, at the junction of the four provinces of Henan, Anhui and Sulu. Mangdang Mountain is the only mountain group in the eastern plain of Henan Province, with a long history and rich relics, especially in the Qin and Han Dynasties, and is known as the Museum of Chinese Culture.
At present, Mangdang Mountain is divided into four scenic spots, namely Baoan Mountain Tomb-Hanxing Garden-Fuzi Mountain-Chensheng Garden. Among them, the most amazing is the Liang Guoling Mausoleum in the Western Han Dynasty, which is complex in structure and magnificent, like a huge underground palace, and the tomb of Queen Liang Xiaowang is 2 10 meters long, which is the most discovered in China so far.
