Wang Dongxing died in 20 15 at the age of 100. On my deathbed: I only did one thing in my life, and I died without regret.

At 5: 28 am on August 26th, 2065438, Comrade Wang Dongxing passed away in Beijing, ending his legendary life of one hundred years.

Comrade Wang Dongxing's name appeared with Chairman Mao most of the time. Chairman Mao also trusted him very much during his lifetime and let him work around for 30 years. Chairman of Wang Dongxing's evaluation is also very high, and even compared him to the frequency of the Han Dynasty:

Wang Dongxing's life is full of legends. He was a soldier in the Red Ten Army founded by Fang Zhimin. Participated in the Long March, War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression and the War of Liberation, and later transferred to Chairman Mao as a guard. He was awarded the rank of Major General in 1955, and even became the vice chairman of the Central Committee a few years later.

After such a legendary life, 20 15, Wang Dongxing quietly ushered in the last moment of his life. Before he died, he suddenly said a comment on himself: "I have only done one thing in my life, and I have no regrets when I die."

So, what is this thing that Wang Dongxing said?

Wang Dongxing is from yiyang county, Jiangxi Province. He was born in 19 16, and his family conditions were very difficult. So he took part in peasant riots at the age of 13, and formally joined the party and joined the army two years later. After the fourth and fifth struggles against "encirclement and suppression" and the tests of the Long March and War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression, he has grown into an excellent cadre and was elected as seven alternate representatives of the Central Committee with 1945.

After the outbreak of the war of liberation, Chiang Kai-shek, who insisted on attacking the liberated areas in an all-round way, lost 700,000 troops in just one year. He had no choice but to adjust his battle plan, focusing on all-round attack, and Hu Zongnan led 250,000 troops to attack Yan 'an.

At that time, there were only over 20,000 people in Yan 'an. Far-sighted Chairman Mao decided to leave Yan 'an and move to northern Shaanxi with the central authorities. In this case, Wang Dongxing was transferred to one side by Chairman Mao as a policeman.

Chairman Mao chose Wang Dongxing for a reason. He is not only brave, but also cautious.

Before leaving Yan 'an, Wang Dongxing ran to ask him whether Chairman Mao and Vice Chairman Zhou would go by car or by horse. Ye Zilong replied, "They are going by car. How safe is the road ahead? "

Wang Dongxing was prepared for this. He replied unexpectedly: "If you go by car, you need to send someone to the airport first. Trenches are being dug, so you must inform them to leave a car passage. "

Many people didn't think of this detail at that time. Wang Dongxing not only thought of it in advance, but also put forward specific arrangements. Because Wang Dongxing is cautious, before the formal handover, Zhou Enlai specially asked him to check the work of the Central Committee to ensure that no important documents were left.

After the central government left northern Shaanxi, it turned left and right to Wangjiawan village.

Wangjiawan is located on the west slope of a ravine. There is a small river under the slope, and there is a road leading to the outside world along the river. Usually there are many pedestrians coming and going.

At that time, Wang Dongxing was mainly responsible for the peripheral alert work of the central government. He first led the soldiers to dig fortifications at the top of the mountain, monitored the situation around Wangjiawan day and night, arranged fewer sentries during the day to let them hide, and increased the number of sentries at night. Regardless of the pedestrians coming and going on the main road, let it develop, loose outside and tight inside, and finally successfully complete the task.

Contrary to Chiang Kai-shek's fate and a bunch of people escorting him on the battlefield, Chairman Mao only brought a small army and took Hu Zongnan's troops in circles, which can be said to be a bet on his own life.

But even under such circumstances, when the Central Committee was about to leave Wangjiawan in June 1947, Chairman Mao had a whim and said that he would stay and "go after seeing the enemy".

When Ren heard that Chairman Mao was going to stay, he was anxious on the spot and said, "The chairman must leave at once!" Chairman Mao's temper has also come up, saying that it is not too late to leave after watching the enemy.

Chairman Mao insisted on staying, mainly to take the initiative and ensure that he could lead the enemy by the nose.

At the time of stalemate, Zhou Enlai thought of a good way to kill two birds with one stone: "Chairman, why don't we send a comrade to stay and watch for you before we leave?"

Neither Ren Bishi nor Chairman Mao opposed the proposal. Chairman Mao decided to entrust this task to Wang Dongxing, so he specially left him a reinforced platoon and five cavalry, and specifically told him not only to watch the enemy, but also to "beat them".

After receiving the task, Wang Dongxing immediately ambushed the top of Wangjiawan with a reinforced platoon of soldiers. Soon, a regiment of Kuomintang soldiers came to the foot of the mountain.

There were only 30 people around Wang Dongxing at that time. However, in the face of hundreds of enemy troops, they were fearless and forced to repel the enemy's two attacks, which bought enough time for the central government to evacuate and the villagers to move.

At this time, it seems that God intends to help them. Suddenly, a heavy rain triggered a flash flood. Wang Dongxing took the opportunity to lead his comrades out of combat. No one died from beginning to end, only one comrade was slightly injured.

Wang Dongxing led the soldiers away, which made Chairman Mao sit up and take notice of him:

The Kuomintang soldiers of that regiment did not continue to chase the air in Wangjiawan, but retreated in the direction of Yan' an. Chairman Mao should not let the "guests" go too easily. Three days after Wang Dongxing came back, Chairman Mao gave him a new task:

"You lead a company to pursue the enemy, and you should adopt flexible guerrilla tactics. You have to break into the enemy's rear and harass Ansai and Yan 'an, so that they can't eat well and sleep well. "

Chairman Mao did this for the following purposes. First, it can give reactionaries an illusion that there are still many people in our army, so that they can't figure out how many troops we have left to lead him in circles. Secondly, it can also exercise security forces and better defend the Party Central Committee. Third, the army can also do research between battles to understand people's lives.

Wang Dongxing left as soon as he received the task. The mission lasted for 34 days. The troops only fought a battle in Gaojiachuan, Yan 'an County, and spent most of the rest of the time collecting wheat for local villagers.

During Gaojiachuan World War I, Wang Dongxing ambushed an enemy battalion under the command of a company. He not only successfully destroyed a large number of enemy troops, but also seized the enemy's password book from a car and sent people back to the front Committee station urgently.

After the mission, Wang Dongxing returned to xiaohe village to report to Chairman Mao, and he felt a little ashamed. He felt that he played a little less. Chairman Mao appreciated his performance very much:

"This time you go behind enemy lines, the dozen dozen, shouldn't play. Don't think that you can't finish the task well after many battles. You helped and protected the masses and harvested more than 800 tons of wheat this time, which is as important as destroying 800 enemies. The password book you sent back before also played a big role. "

Wang Dongxing carried out the important tasks entrusted to him by Chairman Mao twice in a row, which made Chairman Mao appreciate and trust him more and more.

In the next year or so, Wang Dongxing accompanied Chairman Mao from northern Shaanxi to Hebei, from Hebei to Beiping, and from Xiangshan Villa to Zhongnanhai. Wang Dongxing is responsible for security along the way.

After that, Wang Dongxing successively served as Director of the Security Department of the General Office of the Central Secretariat, Director of the Security Bureau of the General Office of the Central Committee and Director of the General Office of the Central Committee. No matter how high his official position is and how many changes his position has made, one thing has never changed: he has always been responsible for the security tasks of the central organs in Zhongnanhai and Chairman Mao's security work.

Similarly, Wang Dongxing never failed Chairman Mao's trust. Under his leadership, there has never been a major security accident in Zhongnanhai, and there has never been a major loophole in the security work of the CPC Central Committee.

In addition to the security work in Zhongnanhai, 1949, when Chairman Mao was preparing to go abroad to visit the Soviet Union, he also handed over the security work to Wang Dongxing.

At that time, the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China was holding the China People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC). Chairman Mao specially called Wang Dongxing over and gave important instructions: "The social situation is very complicated now. My visit to the Soviet Union must be kept secret. Don't do any publicity. You can discuss with Nie, Teng, Li Kenong, Luo Ruiqing and other comrades along the way. "

"Send enough troops to guard all bridges, culverts and commanding heights along the line from Beijing to Manzhouli. Wang Dongxing is responsible for the organization of Chairman Mao's special train and the security work around him."

Wang Dongxing followed Chairman Mao for 30 years. The relationship between Chairman Mao and Wang Dongxing has always been deep. Chairman Mao personally said, "Dongxing is by my side, and I am used to it."

1In August, 977, in view of Wang Dongxing's many contributions since he participated in the revolution, he was successfully elected as the vice chairman of the Central Committee of The Politburo Standing Committee (PSC) and China.

At this time, however, Wang Dongxing is over 60 years old and his physical strength is not as good as before. In addition, he consciously can't keep up with the development and changes of the situation of the party and the country. At the Fifth Plenary Session of the Eleventh Central Committee of the Party held three years later, Wang Dongxing voluntarily resigned from relevant positions and became a civilian.

Faced with the ups and downs of life, Wang Dongxing was very open-minded and soon adapted to the retirement life of "getting drunk". After retirement, he lived in seclusion at home and concentrated on his studies.

Although Wang Dongxing didn't want to attend the event, there were always exceptions. Wang Dongxing attaches great importance to comrades engaged in compiling historical records. Every time they come to interview, Wang Dongxing is always responsive.

For example, in the early 1980s, there was a craze for compiling local chronicles in China. Comrades of Yiyang Party Committee, Wang Dongxing's hometown, specially found Wang Dongxing and offered him as a consultant for compiling Yiyang County Records. Wang Dongxing agreed at that time.

When ordinary celebrities undertake similar jobs, they often just write a word casually, make a preface, listen to the work report, clap their hands and nod.

Wang Dongxing is really keen. When people ask him about the details of relevant historical materials, he will carefully write down the written materials one by one, and the content is still very detailed and complete. When the text and pictures are sent, he will also wear reading glasses to check them carefully.

On one occasion, the comrades who compiled Yiyang County Records gave Wang Dongxing the relevant materials reflecting the struggle in the Soviet area, and asked him to review them. As a result, it didn't take long for Wang Dongxing to call his secretary and say, "My hometown Wu Yujia (Wang Dongxing) belongs to the fifth district of Yiyang, and the Soviet regime was founded in 1932, which should belong to the red zone, but it was marked as a white zone on the map."

The map on the county annals is on the scale of 1:360000, and the five districts of Yiyang are about the size of soybeans on the map. But it is such a flaw that Wang Dongxing can see it at a glance, which shows that he is rigorous in dealing with historical issues.

Although Chairman Mao has been dead for many years, Wang Dongxing's yearning for Chairman Mao has never weakened, and he still has great respect for him. Every year on Chairman Mao's birthday and anniversary, he will go to the Chairman Mao Memorial Hall to offer flowers and pay tribute to the great man's remains, regardless of the wind and rain. His habit has been maintained until 20 14.

In Wang Dongxing's home, there are still two calligraphy works presented to him by Chairman Mao: Spring and Snow in Qinyuan and Farewell by Wang Bo. Wang Dongxing's own work, Diary of Wang Dongxing, was also published in 1993 to commemorate the 0/00th anniversary of Chairman Mao's birthday.

In August of 20 15, at the last stage of his life, Wang Dongxing mentioned Chairman Mao again. He said, I have only done one thing in my life, and that is to follow Chairman Mao and defend him. Only this one thing, I die without regret.
