The origin of motto

"The inventor of the motto is Cui Yuan, a calligrapher in the Eastern Han Dynasty. Cui Yuan was short-tempered and impulsive when he was young. Because his brother was killed, he killed the murderer and paid the price for his brother. Cui Yuan, who had committed a felony, had to flee alone, and was pardoned by the court several years later, only then did he dare to return to his hometown. Cui Yuan learned from a bitter experience that his recklessness caused such a great disaster, so he put his motto on the right side of his seat to remind himself to stay calm at all times. The style of this motto is called "Ming", because it is placed on the right side of the seat, so it is called the motto.
