The only two sentences I am familiar with in this poem are: there are many celebrities in Jinan. Haiyou refers to the area west of the Yellow Sea and Bohai Sea today, which was in the west in ancient times, so it is called "Haiyou" and refers to Jinan. "This Pavilion" refers to the Lixia Pavilion, which may have been built in the Northern Wei Dynasty. It is recorded in Notes on Water Classics: Jishui II: "Le Shui comes out of the southwest of the old town of Licheng County, and the spring (Baotu Spring) is vigorous from the source, and the water rushes like a wheel ... Its water is Daming Lake in the north, daming temple in the west, and lakes on both sides of the Northeast Temple, which forms a clear pool. There are pavilions on the pool, tung trees on the left and right, and the sun is pitching. " It is recorded in Hanshu Scholars that Fu Sheng of Jinan inherited the Book of History, and later Zhang Sheng, Ouyang Sheng and Lin Zun all inherited the Book of Scholars. These are Jinan people who were praised by people at that time. Du Fu said that there are many celebrities in Jinan, which is probably true. Now, the pavilion of Daming Lake in Jinan was rebuilt in the Qing Dynasty, with couplets written by the famous calligrapher He at that time. Only "sea tour" was changed to "Lixia", which more accurately emphasized the ancient meaning of the pavilion and the pattern was much smaller. Anyway, people in Jinan are very useful after reading these two sentences.
Li Beihai in the title is Li Yong, the son of Li Shan, the annotator of Selected Works of Zhaoming. Li Yong was also a famous writer and calligrapher in the Tang Dynasty. His poems on stone tablets are a must. Li Yong has little talent. During his years in Wu Hou, he was recommended by people and worshipped by officials. He is a man who dares to speak and is not afraid of death. He is conceited, learned and rebellious. Du Fu was bludgeoned to death in Li Yong, and Li accepted it two years later, and wrote "Twenty-two Rhymes for Wei", saying: "Li Yong is knowledgeable, and Wang Han is willing to be a forest". The Biography of Du Fu in the New Tang Dynasty says that Du Fu is "poor, not self-motivated, living in Wu, Chu, Qi, Zhao and Li Yong, and he is very talented, so he should see it first. It is speculated that Du Fu and Li Yong met for the first time when Du Fu was a guest in the East Capital. In the summer of Tianbao four years (AD 745), Du Fu went to Jinan. Li Yong heard the news and rushed to Jinan from Beihai (now Yidu County, Shandong Province) to meet Du Fu and enjoy the scenery together. " Li Xiating Banquet is a timely response poem written by Du Fu and friends from Jinan when they swam to Li Xiating in Daming Lake.
