Summary of Hard Pen Calligraphy Activities in Primary Schools

A semester's activities are happy, interesting and a process full of exploration and hard work. Small members are also constantly trying to catch up with their role models. During these four months' study, the students in the community group got a preliminary understanding of some calligraphy knowledge, basically mastered the writing rules of eight basic strokes of Chinese characters and five commonly used writing methods of radicals, exercised their writing skills and, more importantly, improved their interest in learning calligraphy. Although there is only 1 class every week, students who come to participate in community activities can make good use of this time, cultivate interest, enrich their after-school life, and gradually develop a learning attitude of paying attention to lectures and practicing seriously.

Because the hard pen calligraphy club is free for students to sign up, the students in the group are very different, some have studied and some have not been exposed, which brings great difficulty to the usual activities. Faced with this actual situation, I can only coach students from the basic stroke writing of Chinese characters, and strictly require students to give timely guidance and timely demonstration of their own writing. In the process of tutoring, I often ask students to analyze the font structure and observe it carefully. In practice, I also ask students to analyze the strokes, font structure and arrangement position of their own words first. For example, any word is written horizontally to the right. When two or more horizontal characters appear in a word at the same time, we should pay attention to their length and the balance between horizontal and horizontal; Standing in the middle of a word is like a person's spine, so you must write straight and so on. This repetition is for students to master Chinese writing methods and improve their writing ability, thus forming good writing habits.

Perseverance is the key to learning calligraphy, and it is not enough to have only 1 class a week. In order to improve students' writing ability, they need more time to practice. Learning calligraphy, on the other hand, is slow, the effect is not obvious, and you can't have the idea of quick success and instant benefit. Through the joint efforts of teachers and students for a semester, the students in the community group have made great progress in their writing posture and habits, and their basic writing skills have also been consolidated.

With the strong support of the class teacher for a semester, members can actively participate in activities, and there is almost no phenomenon of being late, leaving early or truancy, which is very rare.

Of course, there are also some shortcomings in the counseling process: some students' writing attitudes need to be corrected. Some students signed up with a playful attitude, and their playful thoughts are heavier and need to be improved!

Summing up experience and learning lessons, I believe that the second-grade hard pen calligraphy club will get better and better in the future!
