on the basis of selecting posts, you have to go through five steps: reading posts, tracing, copying posts, memorizing posts and creating.
the first step is to read the post
We all know the pronunciation of Chinese characters on the post, so we don't need to read it again. Read what? Read the font, read the structure, read the strokes, and analyze the stroke characteristics of the characters and the relationship between the strokes. For example, when we read the Chinese character "Zhong", we should read that one vertical line of "Zhong" passes through the middle of "Kou", and the word "Kou" is slightly flat. The long vertical line in the middle is divided into two sections with equal length by the lower horizontal line of "Kou", and the upper horizontal line of "Kou" is divided into two sections with equal length. This is the reading of glyphs and structures. Different fonts and strokes have different characteristics.
the second step is tracing. "Tracing" refers to tracing red, that is, beginners describe the printed red copybook with a brush along the handwriting. "Imitation" refers to copying posts, that is, covering the model words with transparent paper and writing one by one along the shadow of the words on the paper, which is also called writing imitation.
the third step is to post. It refers to putting the copybook aside and watching the copybook write word by word. This method is helpful to master the brushwork and meaning of the words, but it is not easy to master the structure of the words.
the fourth step is to memorize posts. Refers to the method of removing the copybook on the basis of the copy, recalling the font on the copybook according to your own memory and writing it on paper. This is a key step in practicing Chinese characters. Only by carefully examining the written words and knowing them in mind can you write accurately. When writing, if you can see the exact font of the Chinese characters you want to write on the white paper, so that "the words are on the paper, and the words are on the chest", it is not a problem to write a good hand.
the fifth step is posting. On the basis of mastering the writing method of the words on the copybook, I learned the writing method of the words not on the copybook by analogy. According to the needs of one's own expression, writing a paragraph with center, content and self-contained system is creation.
How to practice calligraphy well
1. Copying with copying
Copying is the most basic way to learn calligraphy. Not only do you need to copy when you are a beginner, but you also need to copy after you have a certain foundation. Learning regular script requires copying, and learning seal script, official script, line script and cursive script still needs copying. Calligraphers spend their whole lives in copying, learning, thinking and creating in copying.
Copying is to cover the copybook with thin paper, and then follow the pen and write according to the exposed handwriting, which is also called "copying" or rubbing. Another method of copying is called "tracing red", that is, filling in the words printed with red lines with double hooks.
the method of copying posts: the first step is to draw red. That is, clear and complete words are selected from a post, covered with transparent and ink-impermeable tissue paper, such as typing paper, glossy paper, tracing paper, etc., and hooked into hollow words with extremely thin lines according to the outline of the words, which is called "double hook". Then use the marked words as a red book, fill it in red ink, then fill it in blue ink, and finally fill it in ink. This writing can not only deepen memory, but also save paper.
When copying a post, you should pay attention to the pen following the post, and never lose its shape. You should look at the ins and outs of the strokes and try to figure out its brushwork and structure. Copy the post with the meaning of "writing", write the strokes in one stroke, full and precise, and don't fill in and smear them according to the gourd painting.
copying a post means writing against the post after you have a basic understanding of the rules of writing and writing. There are three methods for posting: face-to-face, face-to-face and back-to-face.
facing the post, that is, putting the copybook on the opposite post rack and writing it according to it, is the most convenient and commonly used method of facing the post.
overlay, that is, make a grid with transparent paper (Tian Zige, Mi Zige, Jiugongge, etc.) and write as you like. Mainly used to master the structure of the post.
facing the back means putting away the post and writing the words in the post by memory, not only seeking its shape, but also demanding its spirit. After the recitation, you can set words as couplets or articles, and then enter the creative stage.
The copywriting pen goes with the shadow, so we write as the ancients wrote. The size, length, width, thickness, Fiona Fang, skew and so on must be written according to the requirements of copywriting, which has certain norms and constraints. The characteristic of copywriting is that it is easy to learn the structural position of the ancients, but because the norms are too dead, they lose the brushwork of the ancients, and the pen is rigid and inflexible, which makes people feel unbearable. Pro-post or pro-post, or pro-post, or pro-post, or pro-post, adds many writers' own personality characteristics, so it is easy to get the brushwork of the ancients and lose their structural position. Writing freely and casually, pursuing individuality, but getting little.
Therefore, in copying, it is necessary to copy and combine, copy first and then present, which not only has the ancient writing method, but also has the ancient structural law. When practicing, you can copy first, then copy in turn, and then copy later. Or use the method of "double hook" to study the structural law. Imitation and interlude, learn from each other's strong points, and the effect is excellent. Read more, think more, ponder more, and then write. Writing must be accurate, first similar, then similar, in order to have both form and spirit. After copying, we should repeatedly check and compare, sum up experience and lessons, improve in negation and mature in lessons.
2. First in and then out
Copying is the most basic and effective way to learn calligraphy. Copying is inheritance, that is, learning from the ancients, learning from the beautiful brushwork, beautiful words, beautiful composition, beautiful charm and momentum in the excellent inscriptions of predecessors. However, there is still a key problem in copying. If you don't enter the post, you can't write it, or it doesn't look like it, you can't talk to the ancients and learn the beauty of ancient calligraphy. But if you don't post, you can't get out even if you go in. Too much like the ancients, you have become a book slave of the ancients, and you don't have any personality at all. Writing like this will eventually become your own book style.
Regarding posting and posting, Yao Mengqi, a Qing Dynasty man, put it well: "When posting, don't have me, it will be vulgar if you have me"; When posting, "you can't be without me, and it will be complicated without me." "Don't have me here" means to study the ancient law posts wholeheartedly, grasp the spiritual outlook of the posts, and "every word must come from the ancient posts". If you don't enter the posts, you will have no books. "You can't be without me" means that you should learn from the strengths of other inscriptions on the basis of the image, integrate them, and combine your artistic accomplishment and creative ability to gradually form your own style, personality and creativity, and gradually move towards a new realm of free creation.
3. Reading posts and understanding
It is not only important to read posts, but also to learn books and understanding, that is, to understand from reading posts that some excellent ancient calligraphy posts do not necessarily come. As long as you read them carefully and appreciate them repeatedly and realize their statutes and charm, they will naturally melt into your own calligraphy creation.
Reading a tablet is not reading aloud the contents of the tablet. The so-called reading posts is a special term of calligraphy, that is, calligraphers read the inscriptions and scan the ink before copying them, or during the usual work, that is, carefully analyze, study and ponder the strokes and structure of each word in the inscriptions and the composition, momentum and charm of the whole work. When reading them, they often can't help but draw with their fingers, and they are excited to copy them by hand.
the ancients read posts very carefully. Cao Cao is not only a famous politician and strategist, but also a famous poet and calligrapher. The Hanzhong Museum in Shaanxi Province has an inscription of "Rolling Snow" official script written for him. According to legend, he likes Liang Hu's calligraphy, so he hangs Liang Hu's words in his account. He never gives up reading posts when he has time to study. According to legend, Zhong You, a great calligrapher in the Wei Dynasty of the Three Kingdoms, painted the ground while lying down. He studied very hard, paying special attention to reading and memorizing famous posts. Ou Yangxun, a calligrapher in the Tang Dynasty, once found a tablet written by Suo Jing, a calligrapher in the Jin Dynasty. He turned around and read it, and his legs ached, so he simply sat down to read it. I reluctantly left for three days in a row.
Reading posts is still a way to talk with the ancients and make friends, so as to achieve a * * * sound in thoughts and feelings. Reading posts starts with a little painting, and carefully studies and ponders the beauty of ancient people's pen, knot words, composition, momentum and charm. Through reading, we can see God with our eyes, so as to deepen our understanding, exercise our visual memory, enrich, save and improve our artistic appreciation ability. One book is attached, and a hundred books are read. Reading posts is not limited to one or two books. The practical experience of many calligraphers in ancient and modern times proves that reading posts is better than copying posts. We don't have to be near some inscriptions, but we can read them, deeply understand the three flavors in ancient calligraphy works, and gradually absorb and digest them, so that we can rush to the bottom of our wrists and enrich them on paper, and naturally our hands will follow the height of our eyes and make our hands clever. Into the eyes, into the heart, out of the hand, heart and hand corresponding, get twice the result with half the effort.
