The interest of Shi Kai's calligraphy reminds me of Mr. Qi Baishi's paintings. China's paintings have always advocated the creative principle of "nature is made by foreign teachers", but due to the influence of national cultural psychology, the theme selection of paintings mainly focuses on landscapes, flowers, birds, insects and fish. Due to the inheritance of history, these images have almost become the cultural code of the spiritual traces of classical literati. They rarely broaden this image pattern, but habitually indulge in it and enjoy it. In Qi Baishi's paintings, the traditional literati's painting situation is integrated with the secular life picture. Images never painted in ancient times are active in Baishi's paintings. Fences, mice and ordinary people are all telling their wonderful and moving secrets. I wonder if Shi Kai got an inspiration from Baishi's paintings, an inspiration. How can the interest of his calligraphy be so similar to the civilian complex of Qi Baishi's paintings? God arranged it? Or a similar aesthetic choice based on the same creative thought and artistic conception? Perhaps it is because Qi Baishi used to be a carpenter and Shi Kai used to be a car mechanic. The same cold life experience makes their works reflect their preference and enthusiasm for secular life? Guess is always on the road, but I know that in their world, there are a pair of eyes that discover the beauty of life. Mi Fei, a painter and calligrapher in Song Dynasty, once put forward a valuable guiding ideology: "To enter the people". The so-called "entering the people" means discussing books closely according to the creative subject and his works, so as to avoid following the crowd, being vague and untrue. Therefore, the critical principle of "entering the people" is always to find individuality in * * * and individuality in general, which requires nothing more than wisdom and insight. I read Shi Kai's calligraphy, just reading extensively and talking about a little experience. I know that it may be more realistic to face Shi Kai's artistic world in order to understand him. The inner voice in the work will let us continue to weave and enrich the image of Shi Kai.
