My father is a teacher. In his spare time, he likes to write Chinese calligraphy. When I look at his beautiful Chinese calligraphy, I feel envious. I finally had a holiday, so I asked my father to teach me to write Chinese calligraphy.
when my baby daughter opened her mouth, my father naturally dared not neglect her. He spread out the rice paper, set up the inkstone and poured in the ink. Dad first taught me how to hold a writing brush. He said that holding a writing brush is different from holding a pen. Then my father taught me basic strokes, including horizontal, vertical, left, right, point, hook, fold, pick, etc. I was a little tired of hearing what I said about starting a pen against the front, writing at the center, and closing the pen at the back.
when I couldn't wait to grab the brush, I realized that this long guy was not funny at all. It was really awkward to hold it. I secretly changed to hold a pen several times, but my father found me and corrected me severely. I had to hold a pen honestly according to my father's request. Write it horizontally, big in the middle and small at both ends, like a loach; A vertical down, dry, like a dead branch. My heart is half cold: this brush writing is much more difficult than pen writing. Dad probably saw my mind and said with a smile, "Dad was like this when he first started practicing Chinese calligraphy. Don't worry, it will get better gradually." I just regained my courage and continued to practice.
I wrote the words "three", "lower", "king" and "ten", and my father asked me to hang it in the distance and read it carefully. Oh, my God, some of these four words are too big, some are too small, some are to the left or right, and some are to the upper or lower. It's really terrible. It's nothing like what Dad said: Chinese calligraphy should be round and full, tight inside and loose outside. Strangely, my father could find the advantages of these four words, saying that it is better to write against the wind, that the hanging needle of the "ten" is well written, and even that he didn't write so well when he first started writing brush strokes. Mom, a layman, also came to join in the fun, giving a thumbs-up and boasting. I couldn't help but be overjoyed. I suddenly felt that these four words were as lovable as my Barbie doll. It seems that this calligraphy is not difficult to write. Did I inherit my father's calligraphy genes?
In later exercises, sometimes I write while my father is guiding me, sometimes my father holds my hand and sometimes my father writes while I watch carefully. Every time I practice, I can get praise and encouragement from my father. Dad never asks me how many pieces of paper and words I have to write every day. I always write when I want to, and forget when I don't want to. Sometimes I don't write for two or three days in a row, and my father doesn't force me. However, my mother was in a hurry, and my father said, "Practicing brush calligraphy is a matter of self-cultivation. If you can't calm down and have no interest, you can't practice it well. Never let practicing brush calligraphy become a burden for children."
after a while, I have made great achievements in Chinese calligraphy. I once participated in a Chinese calligraphy competition organized by my school and won a prize! I will continue to practice writing Chinese calligraphy hard in the future, but my goal is to become a master of Chinese calligraphy!
