The building of Fahui Temple is divided into two parts, with a square courtyard in the east and five upside-down buildings in the south. The plaque of "Fu You Daqian" hangs under the eaves. The main hall is Fahui Temple, with five main halls, and a pair of nanmu gold-sweeping two-story towers are placed in the hall. The main hall and the back hall are connected by cloisters, forming an I-shaped hall with a plaque of "Bright Sea" hanging in it. The gate of the courtyard faces west, and there is also a chengguan in the west of Fahui Temple, where the imperial book "Puxiangjie" is hung.
The west courtyard of Fahui Temple is a towering five-color glazed brick tower. The base of the glass tower is a square marble sumeru, and there are white marble railings on the platform. The platform is 0.99 meters high and the tower has seven floors. It is seven feet, three feet and five inches higher than the circle above, which is 23.55 meters today. The lower two floors of the tower are square with a height of 6.91m. The glazed tiles on the tower eaves are emerald green and yellow respectively. The middle layer of the tower is Ba Road, which is 5.69 meters high. The glazed tiles on the tower eaves are cyan and purple respectively. The upper floor of the tower is round and 6.97 meters high. The eaves of the tower are made of green, yellow and cyan glazed tiles, and the top of the tower is a copper-clad steel bell jar with a height of 3.07 meters. There is a shrine around the tower, where Guanyin statue is located. This tower is also the tallest tower in Yuanmingyuan.
Fahui Temple, as the place where the Qing emperor worshipped Buddha in Changchun Garden, has a strong Buddhist rhyme and beautiful scenery. Emperor Qianlong loved reading, watching the scenery and enjoying the cool in the temple. There is also a couplet written by me personally, "Flowers and rain are scattered all over the sky, and love is cool." The stone tablet of "Love this cool cave" is obviously taken from the legends and allusions of Wutai Mountain in Huayanling, and also shows the Buddhist cultivation of Emperor Qianlong and his love and admiration for Wutai Mountain and Manjusri Bodhisattva. It can be inferred that Fahui Temple belongs to Huayanzong Temple and should be dedicated to Manjusri Bodhisattva. The stone couplet of "Flowers and Rain Scatter Heaven" means that once learned and highly practiced believers gave lectures at the Fahui Temple, but whether there is or not, if there is, no information can be found.
Fahui Temple not only embodies rich religious connotations, but also epitomizes the palace culture in Qing Dynasty.
