Panjin City is located in the south-central part of Liaoning Province, in the center of the Liaohe Delta, at the mouth of the Liaohe River, adjacent to Anshan City in the northeast, across the Liaohe River from Yingkou City in the southeast, adjacent to Jinzhou City in the northwest and adjacent to Liaodong Bay in the Bohai Sea in the south;
