Why is Tian Yingzhang not recognized by the calligraphy circle?

Tian Yingzhang is not recognized by the calligraphy circle for many reasons.

Tian Yingzhang was born in Tianjin on 1950. After graduating from Capital Normal University, he went to Tokyo University to study, and his main research topic was calligraphy research. After years of study, he has become a very famous calligrapher. In fact, when he was very young, he often studied calligraphy with his elders at home.

Because of his strong ability in the field of calligraphy, he became an excellent literary and art soldier in the army after enlisting, especially hard-pen calligraphy, which was top-notch in the 1980 s and 1990 s. He won many awards at home and abroad and even won the first prize in the country.

Because of his outstanding performance in the field of calligraphy, he successfully joined the 198 1 China Calligraphy Association. Also in that year, he was specially transferred by the State Personnel Bureau and became a scholar appointed by the State Council to write the State Council's letter of appointment. Because of his outstanding performance in the field of calligraphy, he has conducted many academic exchanges and even held various art exchange exhibitions of calligraphy and painting talents.

Just as Tian Yingzhang's calligraphy is widely imitated, Tian Yingzhang's position in China Calligraphy Association has also changed. Because of his profound accomplishments in calligraphy, China Calligraphy Association hoped that he could take a more important position, and finally he left the association. Although he could continue to join the China Book Association again, for various reasons, he did not join again. What made him give up the China Book Association?

Anyone who knows the inside story knows that the reason why he didn't join the China Book Association again is directly related to one person, that is, Su Shizhu, the chairman of the Book Association. In his view, although Tian Yingzhang's calligraphy looks fair and tidy, it lacks atmosphere. He even pointed out that Tian Yingzhang's handwriting was very formal.

In addition to criticizing Tian Yingzhang's calligraphy, Su Shizhu also said that Tian Yingzhang was not welcomed by the China Calligraphy Association and could never recognize his regular script.

Faced with this criticism from the Chairman of China Book Association, many people think that his criticism is too harsh, while others think that this is actually a phenomenon caused by some struggles within their organization. The reason is unknown to outsiders. But many people think that Tian Yingzhang's calligraphy is really worth learning.
