The man picked up a leave of absence by accident while cleaning up the rubbish. It took three years to know that it was Wang Xizhi's original?

Shanghai Museum has a collection of nearly one million cultural relics, including 0/20,000 fine cultural relics, especially bronzes, pottery, calligraphy and painting. Spanning all previous dynasties, it can be called a large-scale China Museum of Ancient Art, and the Shanghai Museum is therefore regarded as half of the cultural relics. But in fact, these cultural relics are carefully collected by the Shanghai World Expo and are the painstaking efforts of several generations. There is a collection story behind them.

What I want to talk about today should be regarded as the earliest treasure of the town hall in Shanghai. The original work of Wang Xizhi was once considered as garbage. And it can stay, but also thanks to one person, that is Wan. Wan was a staff member of Shanghai Museum at that time. 1972, Wan was selected into the cultural relics clearing group. This cleaning team mainly identified and cleaned up some calligraphy and painting antiques collected at that time. One day, Wan was sorting things in the warehouse, but he found a piece of paper in the trash can.

Probably an occupational disease, so he picked it up and looked at it. It was terrible. The head of the scroll is written with Song Huizong's thin gold calligraphy "The King of Jinxi Shang Yu Tie", and there are seals such as Yuan Shuanglong, Zheng He and Xuanhe. But in case of asking, the manager said that it was lost because it was identified as a fake. He thought about it and thought that the seal was real and didn't look fake. So I took this home myself, and I planned to wait for experts to come out to work in the future, and then let people identify it.

Wan's action has left a priceless treasure for the future Shanghai World Expo, thanks to his concern. This is three years. Three years later, Shen Zhiyu, director of Shanghai Museum, was liberated to take charge of the work. Wan took out his Shangyu post three years ago and raised his own questions. Shen Zhiyu was also full of praise after reading it. But he is not an expert in calligraphy and painting, and he is not sure, so he offered to send it to Beijing for identification.

Ma Chengyuan, the warehouse director on one side, listened to the story and said: Shanghai has thanks. Yes, there are also great men like Xie, who are good at calligraphy and identification. Shen Zhiyu and Wan hurried to Xie with their posts, only to find that Xie was so anxious that he clapped his hands and cheered: We also have Wang Xizhi, who, although imitating the Tang Dynasty, should be treated as an original. Later, Xie discovered the "Inner Seal" of the Southern Tang Dynasty, which is rare in other ancient paintings, that is to say, it was collected by Li Yuhe.

It is even more certain that this is a copy of Tang, not a copy of future generations. Interestingly, Shangyu Post can actually be said to be Mr. Wang Xizhi's "suicide note". The content of the post is as follows: Ask with a book. I have a stomachache at night and can't bear to see you. I hate it! I want to come back. I'm in Shangyu now, and I'll go at the end of the month. If you emphasize Xidan, you will go to the west. Don't say goodbye. I want to know where Ann is. It is very distressing not to judge the meaning of time.

To put it simply, Wang Xizhi couldn't meet his friends because of abdominal pain, and also talked about the recent situation of his brother, wife and friends. Among them is his brother, Chongxi is his wife and brother Tan, and An should refer to Xie An. It seems that Wang Xizhi added something else at the back instead of asking for leave, so this post is also called "Night Abdominal Pain Post". Shangyu Post is a treasure of Shanghai Bo, and it is still in Shanghai Bo, which is the treasure of the town hall.

In fact, whether it is the original of Wang Xizhi or not, it has been collected by Li Yu and Hui Zong, and Hui Zong loves it. The significance of this post is extraordinary. I don't know how it was thrown away as garbage, but fortunately I saw it in time. This also shows the uncertainty of cultural relics, some of which are difficult to distinguish because of experience. People may think it is false for a while, but it may be true, just need more time to identify it.
