Shi Naian's representative work "The Water Margin" is mainly based on the peasant uprising led by Classical and Song Jiang in Liangshanpo area of western Shandong at the end of the Northern Song Dynasty. Today, there are many legends related to the plot of Water Margin.

Liangshan Shui Bo

Liangshan, the base camp of the Sung River peasant uprising army described in the Water Margin, is said to be Liangshan, 2.5 kilometers southeast of Liangshan County.

Liangshan, formerly known as Shouliangshan, is called Liangshan for short. According to Records of the Historian, Liu Wu, the younger brother of Emperor Han Jingdi, was sealed in Liang (Suiyang, now Shangqiu, Henan), once hunted Liangshan in the north, and was buried in Liangshan after his death, so he was renamed Liangshan. According to historical records, Liangshan area originally belonged to Shui Bo, called Liangshan Dragon, which is a part of Konosawa. "The Biography of Emperor Wen of Sui in the History of Song Dynasty" contains: "Liang Shanlong, an ancient giant wilderness, stretches for hundreds of miles, and several States profit from it." Since the Song, Yuan, Ming and Qing Dynasties, the Yellow River has burst many times, and the river carries sediment into the lake, and the bottom of the lake gradually rises due to sediment deposition. The "sea" has finally become the "mulberry field" around Liangshan today. However, when Liangshan arrived at Dongping Lake, which is more than 10 kilometers away, we could still see the features of Shui Bo in those days. 1958, Jia Zhuang, Luli Township, west of Liangshan 10, excavated a wooden warship more than 70 feet long. The words "Hongwu was built in five years" were cast on the ship, which shows that until the early Ming Dynasty, Liangshan was still surrounded by "Shenzhen-Hong Kong water branches and reeds swaying".

Liangshan consists of four main peaks, including Hutou Peak, Xueshan Peak, Haoshantou and Qinglong Mountain, and some residual veins. Hutou Peak is the highest peak, surrounded by dangerous rock walls. Liangshan Village and Zhongyitang were here. There is a path winding from the foot of the mountain to the main peak, called "Sung River Road". After crossing Songjiang Road, there is a mountain pass called Heifengkou, which is a narrow mountain ridge with steep canyons on both sides, and there is a tendency that "one person guards it, and ten thousand people can't force it". According to legend, Li Kui jy, a black whirlwind, was guarding here in those days. The wind in Heifengkou is big and urgent, and there is a saying that "there is no smoke without fire, three feet of waves, and the wind turns around". In the northeast, there is a martial arts field and a horse farm for Liangshan heroes. There is a village at the foot of the mountain, with miles of apricot trees like clouds and rosy clouds. It is Xinghua Village, where Wang Lin Hotel is located, written in the Water Margin. At that time, Zhu Gui was in charge of liaison here. When someone defected to Liangshan or had other news, he shot an arrow at the black tuyere. Li Kui jy often goes to Xinghua Village to drink.

From the black tuyere to the south, it is the Hutou Peak where Liang Shanzhai is located. The shanzhai ruins are still there, and the village foundation is made of stone. The whole hut covers an area of about ten or twenty acres. In the middle is the former site of Loyalty Hall, on which the Loyalty Hall was rebuilt. On a piece of bluestone in front of the main hall, there is a stone nest the size of a bowl. According to legend, it is the flagpole nest of apricot yellow flag where the rebel tree "acts for heaven". According to legend, "Doing Heaven's Way" was written by Zhu Wu, a strategist of Liangshan hero Ji Shen. He wrote these words, and there is a story:

Zhu Wu has been very clever since he was a child. His first teacher was very strict with his students. Students can't recite. Once hit the hand board, twice hit the board, and tied the stool legs three times. People call him "Mr. Board of Directors". Zhu Wuyi was beaten, worked hard day and night, and finally Yu Dayou improved. The end of this year is approaching, and the teacher is going home for the New Year. When he touched the bottom of the kang mat, the silver was gone. When Zhu Wu knew this, he went home to ask his parents for dozens of taels of silver and gave it to his teacher. He said, "Teacher, I took this silver, but I forgot to tell you. Now I'll give it back to you! " The teacher had a little money, and Bidiu had 10, but he didn't have time to think about it, so he hurried on his way. As soon as the teacher left, Zhu Wu saw that there were no couplets at the school gate and wanted to write one. When he raised his pen, he thought of the teacher's crying after he lost his money. He thinks it is the poor rather than the rich who steal. It is so unkind and unfair, so he wrote such a couplet: "Idle people are not allowed to become sages; Thieves don't come to Taoist priests. " Cross-linking: "For the sky." After the New Year, the teacher came back and was surprised to see the couplets. He asked if it was written by Zhu Wu, and he cultivated it deliberately. Later, Zhu Wu became the strategist of Liangshan, and wrote the four characters "for heaven" on the banner of the shanzhai.

Huangnigang

In the 16th time of Water Margin, treacherous court official Cai Jing was born, son-in-law Daming House stayed in Liang Zhongshu, and Yang Zhi was sent to take loyalist for his birthday in Tokyo. After Huangnigang, they were thirsty because of the hot weather, so they rested in the forest. At this time, seven jujube vendors also stopped to enjoy the cool and bought wine to drink. The loyalists who sent birthday programs were very wary at first, but when they saw that they drank a bucket of wine, it was nothing, so they ignored Yang Zhi's advice and bought wine to relieve the heat. Who knows that the wine was drugged, so, "fifteen people were top-heavy, and they all looked at each other and fell soft. Seven guests put all eleven golden balls in the car, put the lid on it and shouted, "What a noise!" " All the way down to Huangnigang. "Originally, the seven guests and the man who picked the wine were later Liangshan heroes Classical, Wu Yong, Gongsun Sheng, Liu Tang, San Ruan and Bai Sheng.

The location of the story is Huangnigang, and the legend is now Huangduiji in Yuncheng County. There are 1000 households in Huangduiji. Up to now, there is a big earthen mountain in the village with a stone tablet of the Ming Dynasty on it. According to the inscription, between Chongning in Song Huizong, there is water in 800 miles around Liangshan, and the north of the pile is 60 miles away from Liangshan, which is the south bank of Liangshan Lake, which was called Huangnigang in ancient times, that is, here. At that time, Chao Gai and Wu Yong knew that this was the only way for Daming House to reach Tokyo, so they decided to contact several heroes to seize the birth outline in the dense forest of Huangnigang. Wu Yong first found three Ruan Xiaoer brothers who lived in Shi Jiecun. Shi Jiecun is said to be Shimiao Village, Yinshan Township, Liangshan County. There is Dongping Lake in the east and the Yellow River in the west, surrounded by reeds and weeping willows on the shore. The scene of Shi Jiecun's "Green is about to drip" and "Running water around the lonely village" in Water Margin is still faintly visible. Now there are 300 families in the village, most of whom are surnamed Ruan.

Jingyang Ridge

In the twenty-third narrative of Water Margin, Song Wu refused to listen to the dissuasion of the innkeeper who said that "three bowls can't pass the post", and even drank fifteen bowls of wine, only on Jingyanggang. Suddenly, a tiger with a white forehead jumped out of the chaotic forest. The tiger pounced first, then lifted, then cut, and Song Wu fled; The tiger pounced again, and Song Wu held the tiger. "Lift a fist the size of a hammer and do your best to fight. After fifty or seventy punches, the blade's eyes, mouth, nose and ears all burst out with blood. " I hit the tiger with a stick again, and finally I beat the tiger out of breath. The Jingyanggang written in the book is said to be Jingyanggang Village, 2 miles west of Zhang Qiu Town, yanggu county today.

"Yanggu County Records" contains: "Jingyanggang is 40 miles east of the county seat, with undulating sand dunes, vast grass, towering ancient trees and sparsely populated. It is said that it is the land where Wusong killed tigers." It is said that there used to be 18 eight piles and nine hills in this area. Because the Yellow River burst during the Qing Dynasty, the highlands were razed to the ground and the barren hills were silted up into Tian Liang. Now Jingyanggang area, Pingchouwoye, little by little villages. There is a mountain temple site in the village. In front of the temple, there is a stone tablet engraved with the words "Song Wuda Tiger", which is a relic of the Ming Dynasty. There is also a stone tablet engraved with the words "Jingyanggang" on the sand dunes in the west of the village, which was written by Shu Tong, a contemporary calligrapher. There is a "Song Wu Temple" at the top of the sand dune, in which there is a scene of Song Wu killing tigers.

According to folklore, Song Wu practiced martial arts for three years to fight this tiger. At that time, after the tiger left Jingyanggang, the county grandfather sent a notice that whoever could kill the worm would be sealed as the head. I heard that an old gentleman named lame Li was very kung fu, so I went to learn from his master. A year later, Song Wu went to Jingyanggang according to the master's instructions, and the master asked him to practice for another year. Song Wu practiced hard for another year. The master smiled and said, "Much better, but I haven't got home yet. If you want to defeat your opponent, you have to achieve it: people don't know why, they walk without wind and shout like thunder! " After that, he drank three mouthfuls of wine and took two pills for strengthening bones and muscles, asking him to practice for another year. Another year passed, and Song Wulian practiced "Drunken Eight Immortals". The limping Harry said with a smile: "It's time to fight tigers!" Later, except tigers, Song Wu became the capital of yanggu county.

Cuiping hill

In the 46th episode of Water Margin, Yang Xiong's wife Pan Qiaoyun hooked up with Hongzhi monk Pei Ruhai and was discovered by Shi Xiu. Shi Xiu killed Pei Ruhai and told Yang Xiong. On the pretext of going to Yue Temple to fulfill his promise, Yang Xiong took Pan Qiaoyun to Cuiping Mountain. On the mountain, Yang Xiong and Shi Xiu questioned Pan Qiaoyun about the details of hooking up with Pei Ruhai and killed her with a knife. There are many scenery in Cuiping Mountain. One scene is now Cuiping Mountain in Rose Township, Pingyin County. The Cuiping Mountain here is full of rugged rocks, Cooper, Zi Xia and Buddhist temples. The mountain is also dotted with colorful roses, which has the reputation of "a fairy town outside things". The ancient poem describing Cuiping Mountain said: "The green trees are high and the emerald color is unattainable. Birds and wild flowers are infinitely interesting, and several people are in the studio. " "Qilu Resort has been there, and the scenery on Cuiping Mountain is the most quiet. There are thousands of trees on the stone wall, and there is a stream of water beside the mountain. Clouds move pagodas, clouds move, and rain floats on the emerald peak. Penglai has many wins, which originated from Zhangzhou. "

Stories similar to Yang Xiong's killing his wife are also circulated in the local area, but the plot is quite different. According to legend, in the Northern Song Dynasty, two farmers, Pan and Yang, lived by the jade belt at the foot of Cuiping Mountain. They each gave birth to a child on the same day. Pan Jia is a woman named Er Qiao; The Yang family is a man named Daniel, and the two families are engaged to a small marriage for their two children. When Er Qiao and Daniel grew up, their families were poor and it was difficult to get married. Daniel went to the county government as a policeman, and Er Qiao took good care of the two old people at home. After the long summer this year, Er Qiao went to the mountains to pick flowers. A monk named Haineng knew magic, which fascinated Er Qiao and obeyed. In this way, Er Qiao was raped by him. Daniel was furious when he heard this. He invited several peasant brothers to make a scene in Cuiping Mountain and even killed several monks such as Haineng. They killed red eyes, didn't ask indiscriminately, even killed Er Qiao, and then went to Liangshan. Legend has it that after Pan was killed, the Bodhisattva in Baiyige here saw her tragic death and turned her into a fairy, but she was reluctant to leave the two old people and stood on the top of Cuiping Mountain overlooking the Jade Belt River. This is the "clever female teacher" on the mountain. It is said that every time a rose is in full bloom, a nun's stone is separated from the infiltration spring, and the shadow is often reflected in the spring pool of the infiltration spring. People say that the story of Yang Xiong killing his wife in Water Margin is based on this story.

Zhujiazhuang

The forty-seventh, forty-eighth and fiftieth chapters of Water Margin tell the story of Song Jiang's three attacks on Zhujiazhuang. The book describes, "What a blessing, full of roads. Easy to get in, just can't get out. " People came out of the village. "When there is a poplar tree turning, it is a road. When there is no tree, it is a dead end. If there are other trees turning, that's not the way. If you still go wrong, go left and right, but you can't get out. What's more, bamboo sticks and iron thorns are buried underground in a dead end. If you go wrong, you will definitely eat when you fly and you will catch them. " Song Jiang's first two attacks failed because he was not familiar with Pantuo Road. The third time, Sun Li and others were sent to the other side, and then Zhujiazhuang was captured from the inside. Zhujiazhuang Village described in the book is said to be Zhukou, Lee Tae Township, yanggu county. In Zhukou Village today, the road network is square, and both sides of the road are all solid earth weir walls, one after another, which are complicated. If you don't pay attention, you will get lost, which is quite like Pantuo Road. Most people in the village are surnamed Zhu. There are two versions, one is to change the surname from Zhu and the other is to be a descendant of Zhu Yuanzhang.

There is a local legend of Sanda Zhujiazhuang, which is different from the plot of Water Margin. According to legend, there is a Zhuangzi named Zhujiazhuang in the northwest of Liangshan. The village owner is willing to worship, and he is very calculating. His four sons, Zhu Long, Zhu Hu, Zhu Biao and Zhu Feng, are all dragons and tigers. Master Wan Jintang has a profound skill and is proficient in eighteen weapons. He can still sleep day and night, but he never gets tired. There is also a golden rooster in the stupa of Lizhuang, which keeps its eyes open day and night. Whenever soldiers and horses come out, it will sing loudly, so that the people of Lizhuang can get ready early. Zhu Chaofeng fought Liangshan wholeheartedly because Zhuangzi was strong and strong. Liangshan hit Zhujiazhuang twice, but failed to break through Zaozhuang, Zhuangzi, and was hit back by Zhuangding with disorderly arrows and soil cannons. Wu Yong, a military adviser, came up with a clever plan and sent Yan Qing to sneak into Zhujiazhuang to spy out the situation as a vendor selling needle and thread. This Yan Qing has a glib tongue and a sweet mouth. Less than half a day after he entered the village, he got to know the big girl and kannika nimtragol in the village. On this day, Yan Qing came to the streets of Zhuangshang to peddle and saw an old lady carrying a basket. He took it and took her home. This woman's surname is Gan, alone. Yan Qing had a brainwave, recognized his foster mother and moved to the village to live with her. One night, Yan Qing casually said, "We can't enter Zhujiazhuang, and water can't be poured in. Even Liangshan heroes can't fight. God bless us! " Mrs. Gan giggled and said, "If you want to talk about God, you should be a golden rooster. It is not impossible to break the walls of Zhujiazhuang if it is not a god. Let's say Zaozhuang is the hardest to fight. I think as long as we plant some eyebrow worms on that land, it will burn out when it dries in1February. " A few words tickled Yan Qing's heart and asked, "What magic can foster mother say about the Golden Rooster God?" Aunt Gan whispered, "We can't talk nonsense about this. Son, I'm telling you, that chicken flew down from the sky and slept for three years in a blink of an eye. You came to Zhuangshang just the first year after its nap, and it didn't take a nap until midnight on the fifteenth day of the twelfth lunar month. " Yan Qing's heart exulted, and his ideas were gathered in Wanjintang. Knowing that Wan Jintang was greedy for drinks, he made up his mind to invite Wan Jintang to drink. Wan Jintang is a hero, but he can't drink well. When he was 80% drunk, Yan Qing added, "It's amazing to hear that you keep your eyes open from morning till night." Wan Jintang smiled and told the secret of staying up late. It turned out that he was sleeping with his eyes open, and outsiders didn't know that he was awake, so more and more people spread it. Yan Qing, a few bottles of wine, all the details of Wanjintang have been taken out. In addition, these days, by selling goods, he has made clear the 72 hutongs in Lizhuang. The next day, he left Zhujiazhuang and went to Liangshan on the pretext of handling goods.

Yanqing reported the situation of Laotianjiazhai to Sung River. In the spring of the following year, Sung River set out to attack Tianjiazhai and won a great victory.
