Over the years, he has presided over 8 projects at or above the provincial and ministerial level, and published 5 personal monographs (History of Painting in China, General Introduction to Calligraphy History in China, Vision of Ancient Painting Concept in China, Textual Research on the Book of Songs and Zhou Culture, Exploration of Mei Culture in China), Literature and Art Research, New Art, Art and Design, and Series Research on Confucian Classics.
Monographs: Vision of Ancient Painting Concept in China, Textual Research on the Book of Songs and Zhou Culture, Exploration of Mei Culture in China, Modernity of Calligraphy and Calligraphy as a Poetic Language of Art, New Evidence of Zhanwan, Jienan Mountain, and Between Shape Writing and Painting Landscape Gods won the Outstanding Achievement Award of Shandong Social Sciences 1 and the Outstanding Achievement Award of East China.
In 2005, he was awarded as an outstanding young intellectual in Shandong Province. In 2006, he was rated as the national model of teachers' morality.
