What is a romantic mirror?

Cao Xueqin wrote "A Treasure Mirror of Yue Feng" in his early years, which is the first draft of A Dream of Red Mansions. "The book A Dream of Red Mansions, although Cao Xueqin intended to make one hundred and twenty times, died before it was finished. The proportion of manuscripts collected by each school is the same as that of catalogues after 80. This book was completed because Qin Xue revised "The Treasures of Yue Feng" several times. The manuscript collected today failed to draw an ear because of the different scores of the manuscript before and after the change. The origin of this book is not the end of the world. " Look at Yu Rui's idle pen in the jujube window. Yu Rui also listened to Cao Xueqin's anecdotes from his "elder in-laws", so the introduction of A Dream of Red Mansions edited by Yue Feng Baojian should be well-founded. "Senior in-laws" don't know who they mean. Besides, Yu Rui is Yongzhong's nephew. Yongzhong "enjoys a Dream of Red Mansions because of the fragrance of ink" (the poem says: "I hate strangers, but I cry for Cao Hou several times." Yongzhong had no direct contact with Qin Xue before his death. Mo Xiang is Dunmin and Duncheng's uncle. Dunmin and Duncheng are good friends of Cao Xueqin. It can be seen that Yu Rui is not the only way to understand Cao Xueqin's writing A Dream of Red Mansions. Moreover, after learning from one way, it can be verified from another way. A Dream of Red Mansions is different from other historical novels in that it has two songs in one throat. On the surface, this is a novel, but in fact it is unofficial history. Due to the historical environment at that time, the author had to hide history in novels. At the beginning of the novel, The Story of the Stone was once called Yue Feng's Treasure Mirror. The brothers and sisters of Huo's family think that the treasure book held by Gary on his deathbed is only an image and concrete metaphor for this book. The front treasure mirror describes Yue Feng's novels, full of prosperity, warmth, wealth and affection for children, while the back treasure mirror is a history full of bones and blood and tears-a history hidden in novels. According to the book, Jia Rui got sick because he couldn't flirt with Xifeng, and taking dozens of pounds of medicine didn't help. At this time, a lame Taoist came and took out a mirror that could look at people on both sides, that is, a treasure mirror of Yue Feng. He told Jia Rui that this mirror was only for those "smart Jie Jun" and "elegant princes and grandchildren" and warned him, "Never look at the front, just look at the back, it's important!" But Gary didn't listen to the advice, took a positive photo and died. Jia Dairu couple cursed Taoist priest, "what a demon mirror! If you don't destroy this thing early, it will harm the world. " When Dai Ru ordered someone to burn the mirror, he cried in front of it: "Who told you to look ahead! Since you believe that the fake is true, why did you burn me? " As a result, the lame Taoist priest came, took away the precious mirror and drifted away. Now look at this time, and gradually realize the author's good intentions. The author said that the mirror "can shine on people on both sides", which means that there are metaphors in the book, and the two sides of the mirror refer to the inside and outside of the book. The author said through the mouth of a lame Taoist, "Never take the front view, only the back view, it's very important, very important!" At that time, we should tell readers that when reading this book, we should not regard it as a romance novel or even a pornographic novel, but look at the other side of this book-that is, the history of blood and tears and bones it hides. Otherwise, you will fall into a romantic story like Gary's, which will be very dangerous. In the novel, Jia Rui will die because of this, so for readers of this book, if they only look at the surface of this book and indulge in the love of children in this book, then they will never see the secret history of this book-this is of course what Cao Xueqin does not want. As for Jia Dairu's attitude towards the romantic mirror, he said it was a "magic mirror" and wanted to "burn" it. The author thought it was a slander on this book, and was retorted by a lame Taoist priest, "You should look at it positively! Since you believe that the fake is true, why did you burn me? " In fact, many people in real life are also those who "confuse the real with the fake". However, when we think of the sentence "when it is false, it is true", it seems that the author is always reminding us how to read this book, but we have been addicted to it, addicted to the romantic feelings on the surface of the novel and unable to extricate ourselves. Although Gary in the book is a poor man, what about us as readers? [Edit this paragraph] "Yue Feng Treasures"-there is a book. Yu Rui said in his "Idle Pen at Jujube Window": "I listened to the old book" A Treasure Mirror of Yue Feng ",also known as" The Story of the Stone ",and I don't know why someone wrote it. Cao Xueqin got it, so the story told in the book is similar to that of his family. Because of the use of the title, this part was deleted and revised five times, which became more and more strange. It is embellished with recent human proverbs to express its sustenance. " It's hard to say whether this passage by Yu Rui is first-hand information, because for the first time in Jia She's edition, Zhi Yanzhai said: Today, the old Yuefeng newspaper in Qin Xue has passed away, and I still remember it for a long time. Yu Rui and Zhi Yanzhai are very similar, but Yu Rui said that he "read the manuscript, and the book with the same volume has the comment on writing of his uncle's textual research", so Yu Rui probably saw this comment on writing of Zhi Yanzhai to know that A Dream of Red Mansions was changed by Yue Feng. In addition to these records, the book also mentions the real objects of Yue Feng's treasures. The twelfth time, the reply was "Xifeng set up a lovesickness bureau, and Jia Tianxiang looked at Yue Feng's treasures". This time, it is also described that Yue Feng Baojian is desperate at this time, and he didn't take any medicine, just wasting money and not working. On this day, a lame Taoist priest suddenly appeared, claiming to specialize in unjust industry. When Jia Rui heard this inside, he shouted, "Please come and save me!" Shout and kowtow on the pillow. They had to bring the Taoist priest in. Jia Rui grabbed it and even called "Bodhisattva, help me!" The Taoist sighed, "This disease can't be cured without medicine. I have a baby for you. You can watch it every day and your life will be saved. " With that, he took out a mirror from his wallet-people can be seen on both sides, and the handle of the mirror is engraved with the words "Yue Feng's Treasure"-and handed it to Jia Ruidao: "This thing came from the ethereal temple in the dreamland and was made by the police fairy. Specializing in the treatment of evil thoughts, it has the power to save the world and protect life. So take him to see the world, see him and those brilliant Jie Jun and gentle princes. Never according to the front, only according to the back, matter, matter! I'll pick it up in three days and call you. " Now we know that Yue Feng Treasure Mirror is a mirror, made by the "police fairy", and its purpose is to "treat evil thoughts and impulses". To put it bluntly, it is a desire that cannot be controlled well. Based on the words of Yu Rui, Zhi Yanzhai and Cao Xueqin, we have reason to believe that there is indeed a book "Treasure Mirror of Yue Feng", and Cao Xueqin wrote "Dream of Red Mansions" and "Treasure Mirror of Yue Feng" on the basis of this book-the author introduced that some people said that the author of "Treasure Mirror of Yue Feng" was Cao Xueqin, while others said that the author of "Treasure Mirror" was "his brother Tang Cun". This explanation is not exclusive, but just one of many explanations. For example, "you" can also be interpreted as "staying" and "hiding". In my opinion, it is more likely to be interpreted as "keeping" and "hiding" than "writing", because the verb used by Zhi Yanzhai to say that "someone is writing a book" is not "having" but "writing". For example, he said that "I wrote this book with poetic meaning" and "covered up the author's real reason". Therefore, the expression of "old books and treasures" means that Cao Xueqin is more likely to have a treasure than Cao Xueqin. The statement that the author of Yue Feng Baojian is Tangcun is based on the word "preface" in Qin Xue's old book Yue Feng Baojian. It is also far-fetched to understand "order" as "writing". After all, "preface" is not "narration". Probably, Tangcun just wrote a preface for Yue Feng Treasure Mirror. Zhi Yanzhai said: "This is a big irony in a book. The author Gai actually wrote this boudoir biography because of sadness and Tang Di's power. " As mentioned earlier, "the sorrow of the owl and the strength of Tang Di" refers to the pain of the early death of Tangcun. Tangcun should be a number, which has been used in history. Liang Qingbiao (1620- 169 1), the great-grandson of Menglong Liang, was named Li Yu, also known as Cangyan and Tangcun. Jishi Shu, a native of Hanlin Academy, was selected as a scholar in Chongzhen period of Ming Dynasty. When the axe king proclaimed himself emperor, Liang Qingbiao was included in the case of "being a thief" on the grounds that he surrendered to Li Zicheng. Qing Shunzhi became an editor at the beginning, moved to be a teacher, served as a minister of military affairs, etiquette and household affairs, and served as a bachelor in Baohe Hall. Liang Qingbiao likes to collect ancient calligraphy and painting, with hundreds of thousands of books, especially calligraphy and famous paintings of past dynasties. It has the reputation of "gathering great achievements in the world". Judging from the time, this person will definitely not be Cao Xueqin's younger brother. The author thinks that the existing historical materials can't verify the author of Yue Feng Baojian. [Edit this paragraph] Yue Feng Baojian-Introduction Although we can't see the book Yue Feng Baojian, we can still get a glimpse of what Yue Feng Baojian wrote, because A Dream of Red Mansions was changed from Yue Feng Baojian. The stories of Xi Feng and Jia Rui written in the eleventh and twelfth chapters of A Dream of Red Mansions mentioned the romantic book, which should be unmistakable. Considering that some "romantic" stories should be written in "Romantic Mirror", some researchers think that all the stories related to romance in the book are stories of "Romantic Mirror", which is a bit far-fetched. It is inevitable to write romantic stories in any novel, and it is normal for A Dream of Red Mansions to write romantic stories in addition to romantic treasure stories. So which stories are the "Yue Feng Treasures"? In order to facilitate the discussion, the author divides A Dream of Red Mansions into these stages: the first stage: from the first to the eighth stage, it mainly introduces the characters and their fate in the book, which we can call "prologue story segment". The second stage: 9 to 16, mainly writing the story of Qin Keqing and Qin Zhong, which we call "Erqin Story Segment". The third stage: from the seventeenth to the sixty-third, mainly writing the story of Jia Baoyu and twelve women in the Grand View Garden, which can be called "the story segment of the Grand View Garden". The fourth stage, from sixty-four to sixty-nine, focuses on the story of Second Sister You and You Sanjie, which we can call "Second Sister You Story Segment". Because the manuscript of A Dream of Red Mansions ended in eighty chapters, and the story after seventy chapters is incoherent, so we won't discuss it for the time being. The story of Erqin tells the story of Qin Keqing completely and ends with their death, so they are relatively independent. The Story of Yule tells the story of Yule's sister You Sanjie completely, and ends with their death, so they are relatively independent. Moreover, these two stories are obviously different from those in Daguan Garden: Erqin and Yurdo wrote love stories, most of which took place in Ningguo Mansion, with few poems and songs, and the protagonists were Jia Lian, Jia Zhen, Jia Rong and Wang Xifeng; Most of the stories in the Grand View Garden are about leisure, and most of them take place in Guo Rong Tower. There are many poems and songs, and the protagonists are Jia Baoyu and twelve women in Jinling. A Dream of Red Mansions is really different from other novels in the Ming and Qing Dynasties, and it is a story section of the Grand View Garden. This story gives readers a sense of freshness and is the essence of this book. I think many readers like A Dream of Red Mansions not because of the story of Er Qin or Er You. If you take out these two stories, I'm afraid their achievements are not as good as three words and two beats. Chapters 17 and 18 of Chen Geng's best preserved book are not divided, just at the dividing point between the Erqin story section and the Daguanyuan story section, while Chen Geng's book lacks chapter 64, just at the dividing point between the Daguanyuan story section and the Yule story section, which is also a trace of the convergence of the two stories. The author believes that the story of Erqin and Yule is the content of Romantic Treasure Mirror. There are no innocent men and women like Lin Daiyu, Xue Baochai, Shi Xiangyun, Zhen Baoyu and Jia Baoyu in the romance mirror, but only romantic figures like Qin Keqing, You Sanjie, You Erjie, Qin Zhong and Jia Rui, all of whom died of prostitution. In this way, the author tells readers to act crazily. On Qin Keqing's Funeral: Some scholars think that "A Treasure Mirror of Yue Feng" is a collection of short stories with three words and two beats, because the stories of Erqin and Yule are relatively independent, and there is no trace of any connection. Is that really the case? Read a passage first: On the fourth day of the fourth lunar month, please invite the coffin into the city to let people know about your relatives and friends. On that day, the funeral ceremony was magnificent and the guests were like clouds. From Tiexi Temple to Ningfu, tens of thousands of people can be seen along the road. Among them, there are lamentations and envy, and there is a first-class scholar with a bottle of vinegar, saying that "mourning is more luxurious than luxury", and opinions vary all the way. I showed this passage to many people and asked them who wrote it. They all said it was Qin Keqing. In fact, this passage is written in 64 chapters, written by Jia Jing. Comparing the funerals of Qin Keqing and Jia Jing, the author found some phenomena worth thinking about: Qin Keqing sealed the dragon to ban the captain, the dragon banned the captain, and the five products. When Jia Jing died, he reported to the emperor. The emperor said, "Although Jia Jing is a national white, he remembered his grandfather's merits and gave him five titles. ".When Qin Keqing died, Jia Lian was not in the house. He went to see Lin Daiyu off. When Jia Jing died, Jia Lian was not in the house, accompanying her grandmother to court. After Qin Keqing's death, the You sisters came. They only appeared once 64 years ago. When Jia Jing died, the Youshi sisters also came, which led to the story of Yule in the Red Chamber. Only two masters, Jia Jing and Qin Keqing, died in the first eighty chapters of A Dream of Red Mansions. It was Liu who seized the unusually grand scene of funeral and initiated the study of Qin in one fell swoop. Do we really have no more reasonable explanation and can only believe the secrets of the palace fabricated by a novelist? Here, the author gives an explanation for your reference: Erqin's story and Yule's story are linked together in The Wind and Moon Mirror, and Qin Keqing's funeral is actually for Jia Jing. When Cao Xueqin was writing A Dream of Red Mansions, he separated the story of Erqin from that of Yule, and Jia Jing's funeral was divided into two parts, in which the story of Grand View Garden was inserted. This can explain why Jia Zhen was so sad, why he made great efforts to handle the funeral, and why so many guests died of the male with the highest seniority in the Jia family. If so, there is another question worth thinking about. Why did the author give Qin Keqing such a grand funeral? Is it necessary to return to the answer "Qin Keqing is the perfect image in Baoyu's heart"? Dai Bufan's textual research on the year of Qin Keqing's death points out that the "Jia Rong's wife" in the following is actually Qin Keqing, and Qin Keqing died very late. Then he asked a question: "Why did Qin Xue change Shi Xiong's old manuscript and let Qin Keqing die quickly?" Dai Bufan knows the answer. He said, "This is a complicated issue, and I will comment on it in another article. "It's a pity that he left us without seeing Dai Bufan's explanation. In my opinion, judging from the lack of scenes in the sequel to Jia Rong's Wife, Qin Keqing doesn't necessarily die late. Jia Rui, Qin Zhong and Qin Keqing, who died several times before, are all romantic figures, and seem to warn readers not to be reckless. Qin Keqing's funeral is settled, and Jia's daughter-in-law has to do a decent funeral. However, in order to avoid repeating the description of the two funerals, the author has reason to postpone the death of Jia Jing, an insignificant and benevolent figure, and give his funeral to Qin Keqing, which can easily explain why the author chose to split the Goddess Chang'e flying to the moon's story in two near Jia Jing's funeral. Some people may ask, "Isn't there a decent funeral for Qin Keqing in the story of the moon? "I think this is possible. From today's Dream of Red Mansions, the author can't see that Qin Keqing and Jia Rong are husband and wife. The relationship between them is very weak, and they are likely to become husband and wife in a dream of red mansions. If it weren't for the eldest grandson's daughter-in-law in "Flowers in the Mirror", then her funeral could have gone like Jia Rui and Qin Zhong. After Qin Keqing, let's go back to the romantic story. The author has demonstrated that The Tale of the Moon is a continuous novel, so does it end with the death of You Sanjie? I don't think so. There should be a third story in the manuscript of A Dream of Red Mansions, but we may never see it. Because A Dream of Red Mansions was revised by Cao Xueqin on the basis of Romantic Tales, some people say that the author of A Dream of Red Mansions is not Cao Xueqin, but Romantic Tales, and Cao Xueqin is only a senior editor. In the words of Mr. Dai KATTO, A Dream of Red Mansions was revised by Cao Xueqin on the basis of an old draft of Romantic Tales. I think it is inappropriate to deny the copyright of Cao Xueqin's Dream of Red Mansions. We don't know what kind of book Yue Feng Bao Jian is, nor how similar it is to A Dream of Red Mansions. Just like Water Margin, many places are based on the legacy of Song Xuanhe, but no one has ever confused the author of Water Margin with the author of Song Xuanhe's Legacy. We at least know the fact that the book A Dream of Red Mansions has not been handed down, but it has become a classic, which can also reflect the difference in artistic achievements between the two to some extent.
