Living in this city every day, I feel like "I don't know the true face of Mount Lu". Apart from the history textbooks in school, I have never really understood our capital in a three-dimensional and all-round way.
Visiting the new building of the Capital Museum gave me this opportunity. The new Capital Museum is located on the west side of Baiyun Road, the extension line of West Chang'an Street. It has a majestic appearance and majestic momentum. After entering, follow the guide map to visit one by one, and unknowingly indulge in the plants, trees, tripods and seals of the capital of the motherland.
By visiting the Capital Museum, my understanding of the capital has been improved in the following four aspects:
One is a blog. I have known for a long time that the capital has a vast territory and abundant resources, but it is only a vague concept. This time, we visited in detail the ancient jade art exhibition, the ancient porcelain art exhibition, the ancient Buddhist statue art exhibition, the Yandi bronze art exhibition, the ancient calligraphy art exhibition, the collection of Peking Opera cultural relics, and the study treasure exhibition. During the exhibition, one can’t help but sigh at the vast cultural heritage, product resources and artistic connotations of the capital of the motherland. With its broad mind, the capital tolerates and nurtures the 20 million people living here.
The second is history. Beijing is an ancient city with a long history. Several dynasties once made it their capital, and Beijing’s history is filled with countless colorful stories. The royal jade seal that carries the authority of the imperial court, the bamboo slips that record the changes of generations, the iron and bronze wares that depict the vicissitudes of life, the jade antiques that symbolize grace and splendor, and the folk relics that bear the scars of war, each of them tells us a story. I have countless experiences and historical facts that I can’t tell you.
The third is love. The folk customs and customs of old Beijing are world-famous. The simulated wedding scenes in the exhibition hall are full of liveliness and joy, as well as simple folk customs; the original old Beijing shouts, showing sincerity and enthusiasm from beginning to end; and the increasingly rare style of old Beijing courtyard houses, where the neighbors Talking and laughing, helping each other, saying hello if someone has something to do, and joining hands in a courtyard to help each other, it is not family affection but better than family affection, which makes us modern people extremely envious of that beautiful harmony. The real people's sentiments in old Beijing are honest, gentle, and humble. This is what we need to review, find and pick up now.
Four is beauty. The beauty of historical sites, the beauty of modern architecture, the beauty of natural scenery, the beauty of Beijing is everywhere. The vivid shadow puppets and dough figures, the unique traditional costumes and folk paper-cutting, the world-renowned Peking Opera culture, the mysterious and elegant seal cutting and calligraphy, the beauty of culture and art in the capital Beijing is even more charming. Looking at the architectural design of the museum itself, the setting up of exhibits in the exhibition area, the attentive service everywhere, the attentive visitors and the innocent and lively children who visit and study seriously, they also show the beauty of the spiritual civilization of our capital Beijing.
Only when you truly understand a city can you truly love it. In the past month since my visit, I have been observing the buildings on the roadside with appreciation whether intentionally or unintentionally when walking on the street. Every time I see behavior that damages the appearance of the city, I always think to myself, such a good city, Why can't we cherish her and protect her? The Capital Museum is a window that should be open to all walks of life free of charge, so that everyone can understand Beijing, love Beijing, and then love the motherland, the party, and the people even more. It is hard to imagine that a person who posts small advertisements or throws garbage randomly can be a person who is full of affection for the capital and the country. Therefore, we recommend that primary and secondary schools organize students to conduct collective visits, we recommend that our colleagues bring their families and children to visit, and that everyone around us visit and study at the Capital Museum.
