On how to teach first-year students to write a good composition.
Loving Chinese characters, developing good writing habits, having skilled writing skills and preliminary calligraphy appreciation ability are the basic qualities that modern China citizens should have, and also one of the goals of the curriculum reform of basic education. The process of learning, writing and using Chinese characters from Pinyin and Numbers for the first grade primary school students. There is a very reasonable saying: a good beginning is half the battle. You don't need to observe carefully, you will find that students who can't write well in middle and senior grades have incorrect writing posture, crooked heads, bent backs, eyes close to books and incorrect pen holding. They are full of words and lack confidence and patience in writing. It is not easy for such students to correct their writing posture and pen-holding style and cultivate good writing habits. Because once a habit is formed, it is difficult to correct it. Suhomlinski wrote in "Suggestions for Teachers": "If you find that the handwriting in most children's exercise books is correct and beautiful, and there are few typos, then this is an obvious sign: you can learn a lot in this course. Students' exercise books are a mirror of all educational work. "A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step. How to make first-year students write standardized, correct and neat Chinese characters is extremely important, which has a far-reaching impact on students' writing training in the future, thus benefiting students for life. Therefore, grasping the physical and mental characteristics of freshmen and adopting practical teaching methods are the main ways to standardize students' writing and enable them to write good words. Start with the details, educate the freshmen in advance, and the teacher will carry out a series of preschool education. This is also the best time to write about preschool education. First of all, from the layout of the classroom, we can consider taking out the pinyin and calligraphy exercises written by the first-year students in the previous session and posting them on the wall of the classroom. There is a principle worth noting here: all published content must be the height that primary school students can see at head-up level. Only in this way can our pupils see clearly. The elementary school students who just entered the school will definitely ask: Who wrote these? Tell them at this time and let them know that they can write such beautiful pinyin and Chinese characters before long through study. Then, combined with the understanding of writing posture in Chinese teaching materials, we can teach students the correct writing posture and the correct pen holding method. The pictures in the pre-school education content in the first grade Chinese book vividly tell students how to sit well and hold a pen. Children's imitation ability should not be underestimated. Take this opportunity to emphasize that if you want to write well, you should have the right posture. This teaching link also permeates every time you start writing. Every time it's time to start writing, let the students do a "small qigong"-head straight, shoulders flat, back straight, chest fist off the table, feet differential, relax. Such a small link not only prepares students for correct writing, but also makes them enter a calm writing situation, laying a good foundation for writing a good composition. Second, motivate with your heart and cultivate your interest. Grade one students only write pinyin and numbers, not words. At this stage, we should emphasize the correct writing posture. Pinyin is easy to learn, but in this process, improving students' understanding of writing style is killing two birds with one stone. From a simple understanding of the four lines and three forms of Pinyin to a relatively complicated understanding of Tian Zige, students will be familiar with it after cultivating their meticulous observation ability. At this time, I will tell the students who have just entered the school the stories of famous calligraphers in the past dynasties, and tell them the stories of their diligent study and hard practice. For example, Liu Gongquan practiced calligraphy hard, Ouyang Xiu practiced calligraphy in the sand, and Wang Xizhi helped the old lady sell fans. In addition, we can use the achievements of senior students in our school in calligraphy to motivate them and take them to see the works written by their brothers and sisters. Tell your students that it will not happen overnight to practice good handwriting. You must have confidence and perseverance. Although the ability of first-year students to appreciate famous calligraphy is limited, they will be eager to write well through the short stories told by teachers, and will be determined to write well, thus forming a good learning atmosphere in the class. Third, lay a good foundation, and strictly require students to start from "literacy one-1 one to 23 miles" and let them enter the study of truly writing Chinese characters in the motherland. The words that a literate person should be able to write are: one, two, three. There are few strokes in these words, and the focus of teaching is still inseparable from emphasizing the correctness of holding the pen and writing posture when writing. At this time, what we need to do is to let the students practice their strokes well. Because the words written by students at this time are not complicated, it is time to practice strokes well. How to make students write with a sharp pen? It is necessary to practice stick figure in classroom teaching. The first word written by a first-year student is a horizontal "one". In fact, a simple "one" requires us to formulate a formula for our children: press, pass, pause and retract. Don't let the word "one" pass away as simply as this word. It took me three days to get the students to write this word again and again. Demonstrate writing by yourself, let the students draw red, then let the students comment, and then let the students write against each other. When I saw the students becoming more and more mature, I felt more and more that I had found a way to teach students to write. Here I'll talk more about the formulas of other strokes: vertical-press down, stand down, have a meal and take it back; Skimming-skimming, skimming; Bend a corner, pause, retract ... With the increase of strokes of Chinese characters, the focus of teaching should be: how to observe the position of Chinese characters in Tian Zige. Students can get twice the result with half the effort if they observe the position of Chinese characters in Tian Zige before writing. As a freshman, reading and writing is necessary, but this can only be required in the first two units. For example, starting with the word "three", let the students find out which stroke of the word is written on the horizontal line of the book, and then show it to the students. Then ask the students to carefully observe where the word "ten" is horizontal and vertical in "literacy". Let the students learn slowly and find the key strokes. When students can skillfully find the key strokes, we should ask them to carefully observe the changes of strokes, deal with the structure and analyze the rules of stroke order. For example, when teaching to write the word "tree" with the left, middle and right structure, I wrote a big character consisting of "wood", "you" and "inch" on the blackboard, so that students could see the difference between the words on the blackboard and the words in the box between the fields in the book. Students soon found that the word "wood" is a point in the word "tree"; The word "you" is also a bit in the word "tree". Students intuitively and vividly perceive this abstract law of word formation. Finally, I also teach students to install two folk songs: avoid left and right, go up and down, be beautiful and generous, and stay indoors; You let me, I help you, and solidarity is powerful. In this way, we can "intentionally write first" and "carefully observe and brush it off". This will not affect the beauty of the words, but also improve the writing speed. But you know, the first-grade students in primary school are too young to write fast. In teaching, we can only consider the problem of age and pay more attention to the progress of students in learning Chinese characters. As for the writing speed, don't rush it. From the teaching practice, it is more appropriate for students to focus on writing speed after the second grade. Fourth, build a platform to show your ability. In the teaching process of improving the first-year students' interest in writing, in order to highlight students' subjectivity, students are provided with opportunities and booths to discover and affirm themselves, so as to devote themselves to writing with strong interest and full passion. Various teaching methods such as small competitions, small exhibitions and small titles are essential. In the writing teaching of a class, it is a good method to adopt the "Star of Words" competition. Students learn to write new words in class, show several students' words purposefully and evaluate who writes more beautifully. This kind of competition is intended to inspire those students whose writing needs to be strengthened to find their own advantages in writing a word, and naturally their enthusiasm for learning to write Chinese characters will be improved. A writing competition is held once a month, re-emphasizing the usual requirements for students' writing. Students once again practice how to write correctly, correctly and neatly in the process of writing their own works. As for the judges, the whole class is also responsible for themselves. Stick all the works handed in by students in the classroom and draw a small sign on the works you think are good. Whoever has the most slogans is the writing champion! In order to make students more interested in writing good words, I also held a competition: I gave boys and girls a piece of checkered paper, and they all took part in it, and each of them wrote a word by Tian Zige. Let them compete in groups of men and women to see how beautiful the handwriting of boys is or that of girls. Students also like this form. In fact, the team spirit of students is also cultivated in the competition. Teaching first-year students to write a good composition is indeed a matter that requires great patience and perseverance. In the teaching process, we must follow the characteristics of students' psychological development, give students a good demonstration in class, and think about how to teach in the most concise and interesting way before and after class.
