Li Bensong, born in 1963, is from Kaifeng, Henan. Professor at Kaifeng University, Honorary Chairman of the Global Federation of World Chinese Entrepreneurs, Deputy Director of the Art Committee of the Central Academy of Painting of the China Democratic National Construction Association, Member of the Chinese Calligraphers Association, Deputy Director of the Cultural Committee of the Henan Provincial Committee of the Democratic National Construction Association, and Member of the Henan Provincial Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference Calligraphy and Painting Academy Member, member of Kaifeng Municipal People's Political Consultative Conference of Henan Province. Graduated from the Art Institute of Henan University, majoring in Chinese painting; he was taught by Mr. Ouyang Zhongshi, a calligraphy educator. Published are "Li Bensong's Calligraphy Collection" and "Li Bensong's Calligraphy Art". His calligraphy works have participated in many national and provincial large-scale exhibitions and won awards. In 2015, he was invited to design an inscription and a white marble book cover for Vice Chairman of the National People's Congress Cheng Siwei. In 2016, two plaques were inscribed on the gate tower of the "Chinese Nuo City", a major project in Guizhou Province with an investment of 60 billion and an area of ??60 square kilometers, the largest ancient Nuo cultural city in the world today: "Chinese Nuo City" and "Holy Land of Prayer". His works are collected by the National People's Congress Office Building, the Central Academy of Socialism, Minsheng Bank, Beijing Minsheng Modern Art Museum and other government agencies, enterprises, domestic and foreign art institutions, as well as celebrities from all walks of life, overseas Chinese, Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan compatriots.
