Guo Da's introduction
Guo Da was born in 1942 in Chang 'an, Shaanxi. Guo Da was interested in calligraphy since he was a child, especially after he retired. He knows nothing but calligraphy. In the process of calligraphy "borrowing the past and opening up the present", a lot of energy has been spent. Over the years, he copied a lot of ancient classics, and there are seven kinds of inscriptions that can recite 300- 1000 words, which are enviable. In practice, his experience is: the ancient law is the source, the concept should be new, and the feelings should be true. Its regular script melts the stone into a furnace, with accurate strokes, powerful pens, open structure and unique beauty; His cursive script is not only natural and fluent, but also barren. Every pen is in place. The sense of rhythm and sense of rhythm in brushwork are very rich, dry and moist, with proper turning, connecting the past with the future, natural and just right, and the whole work is full of vitality and vigor. His works are "both ancient and new" and have entered a good situation. Guo Da is a member of China Calligraphers Association and Shanghai Calligraphers Association. Jiangsu Chinese Painting Academy invited calligraphers. Calligraphy instructor is an outstanding calligrapher. His works have participated in 53 exhibitions at or above the provincial level. Third prize of the 5th National Calligraphy Exhibition of Couplets, and third prize of Yue 'an Cup International Calligraphy Exhibition.
