Ou Yangxun, a calligrapher in the Tang Dynasty, was born in Hengzhou, now Hengyang, Hunan. In the past, there was no running water, and people liked to tell stories about washing pens after practicing calligraphy and blackening the pool, which led a considerable number of people to practice calligraphy and wash pens one after another. The south slope of Shutang Mountain in the north of Changsha is where Ou Yangxun washes his pens. This is the place where clear springs flow in the mountains.
There is a granite next to it, which is engraved with "Pen-washing Spring". The official script above is vigorous and powerful, and Ou Yangxun practices here all the year round. Ou Yangxun had a deep friendship with Tang Gaozu, and was awarded the post of assistant middle school by Li Shimin, and was promoted to be a prince and a duke of Bohai. During this period, he co-authored The Gathering of Literature and Art.. His regular script has the reputation of "the supreme principle of regular script" and has been imitated by later generations.
He also founded "Ou Yangxun Bading" calligraphy theory, and wrote a book, summarizing the formal skills and aesthetic requirements of calligraphy, such as brushwork, structure and composition, which is a valuable legacy of calligraphy theory, China. 64 1 year, Ou Yangxun died at the age of 84. Shutangshan, located 50 miles north of Changsha, Hunan Province, is Shutangshan Village in Tongguan Street, Wangcheng District.
Ou Yangxun, a great calligrapher in the Tang Dynasty, and his son Ouyang Tong studied here. The bookstore was the former site of Ouyang's bookstore. The most famous regular script is The Ritual Spring Inscription of Jiucheng Palace. Song Tuotang carved Ou Yangxun's Ming of Liquan in Jiucheng Palace. The rubbings are semi-opened, with a length of 209 cm and a width of 65438 03.9 cm. 1956 Zhang Mingshan donated the Cultural Relics Bureau of the Ministry of Culture to the Palace Museum.
