Are the Lingfei Jing and Wen Zhengming’s poem of falling flowers in small regular script similar?

Hello, Tongtong.

"Ling Fei Jing" is one of the famous small regular scripts in the Tang Dynasty, with an unnamed style. Yuan Jue of the Yuan Dynasty and Dong Qichang of the Ming Dynasty all believed that it was written by Zhong Shaojing of the Tang Dynasty, but Mr. Qi Gong believed that it was only written by an unknown person. Zhong Shaojing, courtesy name Keda, was from Ganzhou, Qianzhou. When the official reached Zhongshu Ling, he became the Duke of Yue. The two kings of calligraphy, Chu and Xue, were famous calligraphers at that time and were known as "Xiao Zhong". They were also collectors and had hundreds of volumes of original works by famous calligraphers in their personal collections. "Ling Fei Sutra" has round and vigorous writing style and exquisite font. Later generations often used this as a model when they first learned Xiaokai.

Wen Zhengming's poem on falling flowers in small regular script has a rigorous structure and exquisite brushwork. It is an excellent work for learning small regular script calligraphy.
