Wei Bei's handwriting is very similar to that of Zhang Yuzhao in Qing Dynasty.

Zhang Yuzhao (1823 ~ 1894), whose name is Lian Qing, is from Longtangzhang Village, Donggou Town, liangzi lake, Ezhou City, Wuchang, Hubei Province. Officials, essayists and calligraphers in the late Qing Dynasty created a unique calligraphy style, combining the northern monument with the southern monument, creating a "Zhang Style" that influenced the calligraphy circle in the late Qing Dynasty for a hundred years, and was praised by Kang Youwei as "an unparalleled calligrapher in the Millennium of the Qing Dynasty".
