Tan (1898- 1995), formerly known as Jun, named Chengyuan, male, Han nationality, from Huzhou, Zhejiang. He is good at landscapes, flowers and birds, figures and exquisite Buddha statues. His pen and ink are concise, magnificent, overall and elegant. Industrial calligraphy, fine seal cutting, good poetry. The representative works of 1 include Hu Bing Cave Landscape, Fruits and Vegetables, Dharma Statue, Shan Jutu, Zhang Sihua (collected by the Central Museum of Literature and History) and Eight-foot Landscape (collected by Tao Jun Art Institute). His calligraphy and painting works include how to draw grapes and write stones in the garden. Before his death, he was a consultant of Zhejiang Artists Association, honorary director of Zhejiang Calligraphers Association, member of Xiling Printing Society, consultant of Zhejiang Seal Cutting Research Association, librarian of Zhejiang Literature and History Research Institute, honorary chairman of Huzhou Artists Association and president of Huzhou Painting and Calligraphy Institute.
