Where is the appropriate place for hanging calligraphy works at home?

Is calligraphy good? I haven't heard of it. Is it a calligraphy work of goodness like water? It depends on the content and form of installation. Calligraphy or landscape painting is usually hung in the living room. Landscape painting is best hung on the sofa, and calligraphy works are hung on the wall opposite or in the dining room or between the two bedroom doors.
