Essay about a kitten saving its owner

One afternoon, I learned calligraphy and went home with my mother, and found that the sky was getting darker. The dark clouds were pressing lower into the sky like they were going to a market. For a while, the sky became dark, and soon raindrops as big as soybeans fell from the sky. My mother and I rushed home anxiously.

Suddenly I heard the sound of "meow". I followed the meow and found a newborn kitten hiding in the grass. The kitten's fur was gray, wet from the rain, and stuck to its body. The kitten was rolled up all over, trembling constantly, and making weak calls from time to time, as if to say: "Mom, where are you? Help me." I felt that this kitten was very pitiful, and I said to my mother : "Mom, this kitten is so pitiful! Save it!" My mother nodded in agreement after hearing my words. She picked up the kitten's ears and carefully placed it out of the rain.

At this time, I saw the kitten slowly raising its head, as if saying to me: "Thank you, thank you!" Seeing that the kitten was safe, a stone in my heart finally fell to the ground.

On the way home, my steps were particularly light and my mood was particularly happy. Although it was raining heavily outside, my heart was full of sunshine because I rescued the weak kitten and it was so happy to help others.
