What should I do if the ink is dotted next to the character “Withdrawal” in Chinese painting?

Thank you for the invitation!

Because I can’t see the actual situation of your calligraphy and painting being damaged by ink spots, I can only answer without presumption. Please forgive me for the poor answer.

The first method is: change. Try to use the ink dots to make the signed text larger together, so that the ink dots become an organic component of the calligraphy and painting. Of course, if it's not suitable, don't force it. Otherwise, it will ruin the calligraphy and painting. This requires a relatively high level of writing skills to be competent;

The second type is cutting. Since the stain is unimportant next to it, it can be trimmed off during framing.

The third type is digging. It is to use the digging method to remedy and dig out the bad areas when mounting. Of course, it is best to let the framer do it to prevent self-defeating.

The fourth type is cover. This also requires a framer to do this. Use a piece of rice paper with a similar color to cover it directly, and then use ink to cleverly cover the edge marks.

In short, no matter which method you use, you must be as careful as possible!

Hope this helps!
