As shown in the figure
The seal script is a general term for the big seal script and the small seal script. Dazhuan refers to Oracle Bone Inscriptions, bronze inscriptions, bronze inscriptions and six-nation scripts, which preserve the obvious characteristics of ancient hieroglyphics. Xiao Zhuan, also known as "Qin Zhuan", is a common character of Qin State, and a simplified font of Da Zhuan, which is characterized by uniform and neat shape and easier writing than Shu Wen. In the history of the development of Chinese characters, it is the transition between the official seal script and the official seal script.
Oracle Bone Inscriptions
Oracle Bone Inscriptions is one of the characters used in Shang and Zhou Dynasties. At the end of the Qing Dynasty, it was found in Yin Ruins in Xiaotun Village, Anyang, Henan Province. The characters were written and engraved on the bones of tortoise shells, hence the name Oracle Bone Inscriptions. Because most of them are carved with knives, they are also called "Qi (engraved meaning) Wen", and because Oracle bones are used for divination, they are also called "Oracle" characters. Oracle Bone Inscriptions's strokes are sharp, thin, hard and vigorous. For information about Oracle Bone Inscriptions, please refer to Oracle Bone Inscriptions's Compilation and Oracle Inscriptions.
bronze inscription
The bronze inscription, formerly known as "Zhong Dingwen", is a kind of calligraphy carved on bronze wares in Shang and Zhou Dynasties. The inscriptions on inscriptions are intricately varied, and the strokes are round and thick. Since the Ming and Qing Dynasties, many seal engravers like to use bronze inscriptions to print, which has received simple and vivid results. For information on inscriptions on bronze, please refer to Three Generations of Ji Jin Wen Cun and Jin Wen Bian.
Shu Wen
Shu Wen was popular in the state of Qin in the Spring and Autumn Period. Since then, "In the Warring States Period, Qin used Shu Wen, and the six countries used ancient prose" (see Wang Guowei's Preface to Shu Zheng). It is said that Shu Wen was compiled by Zhou Xuanwen's Taishi Shu Wen. Compared with the bronze inscription, the shape and structure of the bronze inscription are somewhat the same, but the bronze inscription only tends to be simplified and linear, and its shape is neat and stable. It can be seen from Shi Guwen and other stone artifacts, and the collection of ancient inscriptions has the information of it.
Ancient prose
Ancient prose is the written language used by Qi, Chu, Yan, Han, Zhao and Wei countries except Qin in the Warring States Period, and it is also called "Ancient prose of six countries". The form of ancient Chinese prose is more simplified and the structure is strange. There is also a kind of decorative calligraphy in ancient Chinese, such as the characters with the characteristics of birds and insects, dotted ornaments and long tails, which can be seen in bronzes, weapons, pottery, currency, simplified books, silk books and jade books of the six countries. ancient seal writing
ancient seal writing is very similar to the ancient prose of the six countries, and it is one of the ancient prose. The ancient seal characters are varied in form, and some characters are difficult to identify. This kind of writing is specially included in the ancient seal anthology.
