It has been nearly a hundred years since the rise of Emperor Kangxi in the last years to the death of Luo Pin, the youngest painter among the Eight Eccentrics in Jiaqing four years. Their paintings are numerous, widely circulated and immeasurable. According to the catalogue of Yangzhou Eight Eccentrics compiled by modern people, more than 8,000 paintings have been collected by more than 200 museums, art galleries and research units at home and abroad. As an outstanding group in the history of China painting, they are world-famous.
Zheng Xie (1693- 1765) was a painter, artist and writer in Qing dynasty. The word Kerou,No. Banqiao, is from Xinghua, Jiangsu. In his early years, his family was poor, three generations were scholars, and his great-grandfather Zheng was born. Grandfather Zheng Qingzhi, a Confucian official; Zheng's father, whose real name is Ang Lee, was born in Lin. Zheng Xie was born in Gubanqiao, Dongmen, Xinghua on October 25th, the thirty-second year of Kangxi.
Huang Shen (1687- 1770), a native of Ninghua, Fujian, whose real name is Gong Shou, was born in Yingpiaozi, Donghai Buyi. As a teenager, Huang Shen suffered a lot on earth, and his father died to support his family. Thinking of his mother's hard work, he went out to learn painting to make a living when he was 16 years old. When he was eighteen or nineteen, he went to a temple to study painting during the day and studied hard under the Buddha's light at night. Since then, his figures, flowers and birds, landscapes, insects and fish have made great progress.
Luo Pin (1733— 1799) was a painter of the Qing Dynasty in China. The word "blessing" means "two peaks" and "monk in the temple of flowers". Shexian County, Anhui Province. Move to Yangzhou. He lost his father when he was young and his family was poor. He studied painting with Jin Nong, traveled north and south, and made a living by selling paintings. He is good at figures, portraits, landscapes and flowers, and once wrote "Selling Cattle Songs" to show sympathy for farmers' sufferings. He also painted "Ghost Fun Map", which has profound implications. His brushwork is dignified and aloof. It is listed as one of the eight eccentrics in Yangzhou. There are pictures of Mr. Dong Xin taking a nap under the shadow of a banana, statues of medicinal roots and monks, and pictures of Mei Mei handed down from generation to generation. Li (later 1679- 1755) was born in, Qingjiang, Yiyuan and Baiyishan. Students from Tongzhou (Nantong), Jiangsu Province. He has served as Dingguoshan in Shandong, Buried Hill in Anhui, and Magistrate in Hefei, with good governance and virtue. He was found guilty and dismissed for failing to please others. Living in Jinling Borrowing Landscape Garden, claiming to be the owner of Borrowing Landscape Garden. He often goes to Yangzhou to sell paintings in order to get enough food and clothing. He is one of the "Eight Eccentrics of Yangzhou".
Gao Xiang (1688- 1752) was born in Xitang, Yangzhou. I studied painting with Cheng Sui and Shi Tao. His poems, paintings and seals are all valued by the world, and he is famous for painting mountains and rivers among the eight eccentrics. His landscape paintings are based on Hong Ren and Shi Tao, refined with a pen. Its composition is novel, its style is exquisite and simple, and it is good at painting plums. And Jin Nong, Wang, and also known as "the master of painting plum." There are not many surviving works, such as the "Finger-flick Pavilion" axis of Yangzhou Museum.
Jin Nong (1687- 1764) was born in Renhe, Zhejiang (now Hangzhou). Painter and calligrapher of Qing Dynasty, whose real name is Xingnong, whose real name is Shoumen, whose real name is Mr. Dongxin, whose other names are Shanmin, Qujiang Waishi, Ye Jushi and Long? Xianke, 120-year-old Yantian millionaire, a monk with a monk's heart and porridge, an old man in the Three Dynasties, Jing Manmin, Jin Erlang, a fisherman in Zhijiang and so on. In the first year of Qianlong (1736), he was recommended to be knowledgeable and versatile, with poems and songs. Li Yi (1682 one? ) China painter of Qing Dynasty. Word, number, number, Taoist priest. After being influenced by Shi Tao, he was good at flowers, bamboo stones and pines and cypresses. His early painting style was meticulous and rigorous. Wang (1686- 1759), whose real name is Chilin, alias Waishi, is an old man in late spring, originally from Shexian County, Anhui Province, who lives in Yangzhou and sells paintings for a living. Flowers and plants, pen at will, colorful. He is especially good at painting plums and often goes to Meihualing outside Yangzhou to enjoy and write plums. Plum blossoms are famous for their dense pistils and lush foliage. They are light, beautiful and elegant, Jin Nong said. The beauty of painting plum lies in the fact that Guangling has two friends, Wang Chao's forest painting is numerous, and Gao Xitang's painting is sparse. At the age of 54, he was blind in his left eye, but he could still draw plum blossoms.
