Brief introduction of Wang Peng
Wang Peng (1930.8—2005. 12) was originally named Wang Hongwen, alias Yuhang, and was born in Wuqing, Tianjin. Good at sculpture. He entered the National Beiping Art College from 65438 to 0948, graduated from the Central Academy of Fine Arts from 65438 to 0952, and then studied in a sculpture training class. 1958 graduate students from the central academy of fine arts stayed in school to teach and became associate professors. He has participated in the sculpture work of Tiananmen Square Monument to the People's Heroes and Chairman Mao Memorial Hall. His works include "Members of the Three Armies" and "The Old Farmer". 1990 retired. Comrade Wang Peng, a member of China Artists Association, China Sculptors Association, China Calligraphers Association and associate professor of Central Academy of Fine Arts, died in Beijing on June 5438+February 65438+September 2005 at the age of 75.
