An essay praising my hometown. My hometown is Tongjiang. Is there such a thing?

I have long heard of the famous name of Yangtian Mountain, which means "one orifice penetrates upward and the sky shines down". One afternoon in late spring and early summer, I drove with three friends from Qingzhou to Yangtian Mountain.

The car left the busy city and meandered all the way south. It took about an hour's drive to reach Yangtian Mountain. Yangtian Mountain is located in the mountains surrounded by endless mountains. The peaks are like knives and axes, the valleys are quiet, and the trees are lush, making people feel like they are in a paradise.

The car winds along the Jiulong Pan Highway and reaches a steep place. The cliffs are so close that it makes people feel scared but timid.

Walking to the top of the mountain, driving past the "group of wooden houses" and "reed bushes", we arrived at a quiet valley. The terrain here is flat and surrounded by woods, and Lingze Cave is located here. Climbing down the artificially paved steps, more than 600 steps go straight into the ground, and a bizarre cave world appears in front of you. The temperature in the cave remains between 9 and 11 degrees Celsius all year round. There is a 110-meter-high cave skylight, which is the highest in the country. Snake through the caves and listen to the wonderful sound of water droplets falling into the water from time to time, just like listening to a beautiful piece of music. After passing the "Little Elephant Trunk Mountain" and passing the "Pearl Jade Tree", the sound of rushing water gradually entered my ears, and the trickling water merged into a three hundred meter long river. There is a waterfall at the end of the river, which is really spectacular. Go up around the waterfall, gradually get higher and higher, gradually climb up the stairs from the ground, and then walk out of the cave. The sun shines on the body that is uncomfortable due to humidity, and the breeze blows on the face, and the feeling of returning to the human world arises spontaneously. "Lingze Cave" is more than a thousand meters long. The strange-shaped stalactites in the cave were formed after tens of thousands or millions of years, which opened our eyes.

Go east from Lingze Cave, pass by the cabin in the forest, and come to Wentao Pavilion. Sit in the pavilion and listen to the sound of waves in the pine forest. Looking down at the bottom of the mountain, you can see the green trees and red tiles of the villages in the valley in the distance. Looking at the highest peak of Yangtian Mountain, Moyun Gu, standing in the southeast, you feel relaxed and happy.

Going down from Wentao Pavilion, you will reach Thousand Buddha Cave. On the stone wall on the right side of the cave door, Liu Bingsen, a master of contemporary calligraphy, inscribed the three characters "Thousand Buddha Cave" on the stone. The cave is more than a hundred meters deep and more than fifty meters high. Because it is said that Zhao Kuangyin, Taizu of the Song Dynasty, once lived here, it is also called Taizu Cave. There is a Buddha statue enshrined in the middle of the cave. The cave is surrounded by smoke and there are hundreds of Buddha statues embedded in the surrounding stone walls, which is quite spectacular. Standing in the cave, looking up at the gap in the cave roof, I saw a ray of skylight shining down, and marveled at the wonder of creation. The stone tablet in front of the cave records: "The full moon can only be seen on the night of the Mid-Autumn Festival in Jiazi. At that time, the brilliant light from the top of the cave will shine down, and the cave walls will fill the room with brilliance." An ancient poem said: "Look up to the sky and hang it high to make the moon full." This is how we get the idea of ??Yangtian Mountain. name.

Go north from Wangyue Pavilion to the foot of a cliff, which is the famous Foguang Cliff. Zhong Yuzheng's "Record of the Buddha's Light at Wenshu Temple in Yangtian Mountain" records: "On the first day of April in the forty-eighth year of Wanli, Foguang Cliff shines for three days. At night... the color is as bright as a mirror; during the day... the color is as bright as gold..." Foguang Cliff There is a natural Buddha statue sitting in the middle, holding a scroll in hand, looking down at the people. Only from a distance can you see its full picture. Unfortunately, standing under the cliff, you can't see the shadow of the Buddha. There is a notice warning visitors: There are falling rocks here, so they cannot stop. . Had to leave in a hurry.

Go through the winding path to Yawenshu Temple. This temple was built by Zhao Kuangyin, Taizu of the Song Dynasty, and is one of the three largest Manjusri temples in China. Entering from the main entrance of the temple, there is a bell tower on the left and a drum tower on the right. There is a Buddhist room up the stone steps in the middle, housing the statues of "Manjusri" and "Ksitigarbha". If you look at the incense ashes in the incense burner, you will know that Buddhist activities are extremely prosperous. Standing in the temple, listening to the leisurely evening drums, clanging bells, and smelling the curl of incense is refreshing, as if you have arrived in heaven.

There is a Wenchang Pavilion on the north slope of Wenshu Temple, dedicated to Emperor Wenchang. It is said that Zhao Bingzhong, a powerful figure in the Ming Dynasty, Liu Yong, a powerful figure in the early Qing Dynasty, and others came to worship here before they came to Beijing to take the exams, and they were delighted to become great princes, which became a good story from later generations. In addition, the inscriptions and stone carvings on Yangtian Mountain are everywhere, and the cultural landscape is rich, making Yangtian Mountain a must-see beauty.

There are many fascinating landscapes in Yangtian Mountain. The black pine forest, the red leaf forest, the Black Dragon Cave, the Water Curtain Cave, the Yangtian Cave, the Miyun Gu, the Tallinn, the Dragon King Hall, etc. are all places that make visitors stop. Unfortunately, time is short and we cannot fully appreciate them. I imagine that I will return to Yangtian Mountain in the mid-autumn period of the Jiazi period, stay there for three or five days, and experience the magic of "a hole piercing my head and the skylight shining down". It will be a great blessing in life.
