What's a high life like?

Gao (1683- 1748) was a famous Xiyuan in the Qing Dynasty. There were more than 40 posthumous title due to place, time and illness. At night, they were assigned to their left hands and students (Jining people) in Jiaozhou (now Jiaozhou City, Shandong Province). In the fifth year of Yongzheng (1727), he raised a filial friend to be an official in Jixi County, Huizhou. He became famous in his early years, tasted the life in Yu Yang (Wang Shizhen) and studied in a private school. Later, he met Yin (Yi Hui) and Lu (see Zeng). Calligraphy, painting and cursive script are round and vigorous. Good mountains and rivers, far away from the law, winning with pure spirit, vigorous in the Northern Song Dynasty, quiet in the Yuan Dynasty. Flowers are also charming. I am addicted to inkstone and have collected it for thousands of years. They are all inscribed by themselves, and most of them are hand-carved. Mysterious seal cutting, printed in Qin and Han Dynasties, is unpretentious. Zheng Xie's seal shows people and their hands. When I was sick at night, my pen became paler and more spicy with a wave of my left hand, because I carved two seals: "Ding Siwan" and "Shang Zuosheng". There is a history of Fu Nan's poems, banknotes and inkstones. Died at the age of 66. I wrote mine records myself. Highly gifted and intelligent, he learned a lot from books at home when he was a child. After studying under the famous local Confucian scholar Li, he laid the foundation of Chinese studies, which was of great help to his later artistic creation. Gao's right-hand calligraphy is rigorous and fluent, and his left-hand calligraphy can be traced back to Wei and Jin Dynasties. He inherited the brushwork of Yuan and Ming Dynasties, which is full of charm and interest. He is known as a calligrapher who has been good at calligraphy with his left hand for hundreds of years in Ming and Qing Dynasties, and no one can match him. It was not easy to get a word at that time. Gao's works are dominated by flowers and mountains and rivers. The heroic spirit of the Song people and the tranquility of the Yuan people are simultaneously revealed in his works, and his artistic attainments are superb. Gao's paintings are eclectic, so he is classified as "Eight Eccentrics in Yangzhou", and some of them list him as "Ten Philosophers in Painting".
