Mr. Mao Dun is the proudest son of Wuzhen. The exhibition hall takes the road of life and literature as the main line, showing Mr. Mao Dun's magnificent life. On the left side of the memorial hall is the study used by Mao Dun before his death, which was restored and arranged according to the pattern of Mao Dun's former residence in Beijing. The room on the right side of the memorial hall is an exhibition hall for displaying Mao Dun's relics. The jade plate and porcelain on the antique shelf were presented by friends who visited various countries during Mao Dun's tenure as Minister of Culture. There are four players on the left side of the exhibition hall, where you can listen to Mr. Wang talk about the origin of his pen name "Mao Dun" and the beginning of his creative career. The newly-built Mao Dun Memorial Hall is located in Wuzhen Scenic Area, with a building area of 1 000 square meters, which is divided into upper and lower floors. * * * The first floor is divided into four parts. One is the relics exhibition area. In addition to displaying some of Mao Dun's relics, there are four players. Visitors can listen to Mao Dun's voice before his death. Based on the real scene of Mao Dun's former residence in Beijing, A Study of Mao Dun's Later Years shows his writing environment in his later years. On both sides of the two rooms are photo exhibitions of Mao Dun's "The Road to Life" and "The Road to Literature", which show Mao Dun's colorful life from many angles. The theme display part on the first floor is a portrait of Mao Dun carved in white marble. The background is a suicide note written by Mao Dun to the Central Committee of China during his lifetime, demanding that China * * * party member be remembered. The second floor is divided into three parts, one part is the exhibition of Mao Dun's calligraphy handwriting and pen name seal cutting, the other part is twelve huge portraits of Mao Dun, and the middle part is the screening hall. The memorial hall * * * collects 59 relics of Mao Dun, nearly 90 pictures, and nearly 1,000 books of Mao Dun's works and related books, most of which were donated by Tao Wei, the son of Mao Dun.
