Konghai was born in five years (774, Xiji), and is a descendant of Zanqi and a family of Saeki. Saeki's family produced several eminent monks, such as Yuan Zhen, who lived in the same clan as Konghai. Konghai studied books such as The Analects of Confucius and The Book of Filial Piety, and entered the university to study Mingjing Road for ten years. This is a Confucian discipline, which specializes in the books of ancient sages in China, but it can't satisfy him. therefore
He sincerely converted to the three treasures and made a reference to the three religions, so as to criticize the advantages and disadvantages of Confucius' explanation of the three religions and describe his ambition to become a Buddha. He evaluated Lao Zi and Zhuangzi as fairy tricks, while Confucius and Mencius were secular dust and breeze. This book was written in Li Yan's sixteenth year, when he was twenty-four years old. Konghai became a monk at the age of 23. He was ordained at Dongda Temple. Since then, he has traveled around the world and practiced asceticism. There are also reasons why he became a tantric master. He once prayed in front of the Buddha:' I always ask the Buddhist for something special, and I have repeated it three times and five times, but I have doubts, but I can't decide. I just hope that the three buddhas and ten buddhas will show me the best. "From this, I felt a dream: someone instructed him that the Great Pilu Zen Sutra was what he should want. He got this Buddhist scripture under the east tower of Jiumi Dojo in Gaoshi County, Dahe, which helped him solve some doubts, but it was still not enough, so he came to China and accepted the secret method.

Extend the calendar for 23 years. Konghai came to China with the most sincere people in the same boat. I landed in Changxi County, Fuzhou, and arrived in Chang 'an in late February. First I stayed in Ximing Temple, and then I met a 60-year-old Aguo pear who returned to China in Qingliu Temple. Konghai was only thirty-two years old at that time, but when he saw Konghai, he chose the seventh ancestor of the myth as the heir of the Emperor, named Zhao Quan King Kong. The initiation ceremony was held from June 13 to early August that year, but on February/February 15, Huiguo was silent, just like waiting for the secret method to come from the air.
The man in the empty sea is two parts of the golden fetus, that is, the wisdom and virtue of the Buddha in the realm of King Kong, and the body of the Buddha in the realm of Tibet is regarded as the body of the Buddha all his life. These two parts are both external and internal, which is the root of tantric doctrine. As far as its rituals are concerned, there are altars (mandalas), rituals (the testimonies of secretaries chanting Buddha and Bodhisattva) and seals (symbols that France and Germany use their fingers to represent various things). Secret religion attaches importance to the propaganda of teaching theory and teaching phase, but attaches more importance to the methods of teaching instruments. What calls this teaching tool a method is the climax. The method of initiation is extremely sacred. Don't mess around, or you will be convicted of a felony. This is the characteristic of esoteric religion.
After studying in China in Konghai for three years (804-806 in the Western Jin Dynasty, from the tenth year of Zhenyuan to the first year of Yuanhe), I was not only close to Huiguo, but also learned from Buddhist monk Prajna and Mony Siddhartha in Liquan Temple. The great cause of the empty sea

In the first year of Xiji Tianchang (824), Konghai was appointed as Dongsi Special Land, which was the beginning of Dongsi Presbyterian System.
In the eighth year of Tianchang, Konghai was 58 years old and retired to Gaotian due to illness. The following year, please establish the truth Dojo in the palace. In March of the ninth year of Tianchang (835), he died at the age of 62. Twenty-two years after the extinction, that is, the first year of Emperor Wende Tianan, he was posthumously awarded as the great monk Zheng; Eighty-six years after extinction, in Yan Xi for twenty-one years, posthumous title became a Buddhist master.
There are many works by Konghai, and ten volumes of Three Religions and Nine Streams are its central idea. He criticized the teachings of the Buddha generation on the basis of ten-mind theory and esoteric religion; Based on Buddhism, he criticized the advantages and disadvantages of Confucianism, Buddhism and Taoism. The Theory of Ten Hearts was written by Feng Le in the seventh year of He Chun Tianchang, and it was one of the six schools at that time. Others include the general of Hua Yanzong, Xuanrui of San Lun Zong, Feng 'an of Lu Zong, the righteousness of Tiantai Zong, and the protection of Fa Xiang Zong. Each of them wrote a theory to give full play to his own righteousness. The combination of dharma and Buddhism is included in Fa Xiang Zong and San Lun Zong.
Under the door of the empty sea
Empty Haimen is extremely prosperous, because of its advantages, neighbors, wisdom, spring, honesty, elegance, truth and French king, Yuanming, Taifan, loyalty and Daoxiong, and it is called the top ten disciples in ancient times. In addition, there are Shao Zhen, Zhen Ran, Chang Xiao, Jian Hui, Dao Chang, Yuan Xing and Hui Yun, all of whom are temporary owners. Among them, the interests are most valued by Konghai, followed by Dongsi elders. Yu Ruzhen lived in Hongfu Temple and Dongda Temple, Zhen Ji lived in Kaohsiung Mountain Temple (Golden Temple), and Zhen Ran lived in Jingangfeng Temple, all of which were personally entrusted by Konghai. I have been ordered to be:' The prosperity of my Buddhism depends on your strength', and I have the right to be the second Aguili in Dongmi, and act as a guide for all my disciples. After that, Shao Zhen was the third pear from A Gui, and Shoumin from Xisi was the fourth pear from A Gui.
The system of the elderly has also changed, and two elderly people have been appointed. In the first year of Changtai (898), it increased to three elders, and in the second year of Anhe (969), it increased to four elders.
China students studying under the empty sea gate are sincere, smiling and wise. Although Shi Hui wanted to come to China, he failed, so his disciples Yuan Xing and Chang Xiaotong came to China in the third year of Tang Wenzong (738 Western Dynasty). It's true, this is Gao Yue, the prince of Emperor Pingcheng. He spent three years in Xian Tong (862 AD) and came to China with his disciples. Huiyun came to China in the second year of Huichang, Tang Wuzong (842, Xiji). They all brought back many classics and props for practicing dharma in China. One of them, Prince Zhen Rufa, was over seventy years old when he arrived in China. However, after he saw Tang Wuzong's extinction, Buddhism declined extremely. Because two or three couples inspired him to travel to Tianzhu, he died in Luoyue (now the southern tip of Malay Peninsula, perhaps near Singapore). This feat and lofty sentiments are deeply treasured by Japanese historians, and they are praised by them.
The clearest people, Konghai, Yuanren and Yuanbao, and Chang Xiao, Huiyun, Zong Rui and Yuanxing under the empty sea, are called the eight schools in the Tang Dynasty in Japanese history.
