Crossing the Temple of San Lv

Dai Shulun

Yuan Xiang is inexhaustible, and Qu Song complains.

In late autumn, the smoke rises and the maple trees whisper.

2. Translation

The Yuan River and Xiangjiang River rolled forward, and Qu Yuan was beaten by traitors. How sad it is that the great cause cannot be realized. At dusk, the autumn wind blows gently, and the maple trees near San Lv Temple rustle.

3. Brief analysis

The first two sentences of this poem express deep sympathy for Qu Yuan's misfortune. "Yuan Xiang Liu" was told by hit the floor. For example, the strange stone falling from the sky, followed by the second sentence "What is Qu Zi's complaint?" Another example is the ancient clock, which is heavy and powerful. The opening and closing of the two sentences immediately gave readers a strong shock.

The last two sentences describe the scenery: "Autumn wind starts at dusk, and there are rustling maple trees." The autumn wind is bleak, the scene is bleak, and the atmosphere is bleak. The poet melts his feelings into the scene, which makes the reader unable to help but think generously and implicitly expresses a feeling of mourning and infinite grief.
