"Caotang People's Day" is a cultural activity held in Chengdu Du Fu Caotang Museum on the seventh day of the first lunar month. It is an important custom for Chengdu citizens to visit the thatched cottage every day during the Spring Festival. Every year, people come to Du Fu's thatched cottage to pay tribute to the poets, sing poems, enjoy the plum blossoms and pray for blessings.
People's Day originated from Du Fu's good friend Gao Yi's poem People's Day sent to Du Fu in 761 AD to express his thoughts on his friends. In 77 AD, Du Fu, who was wandering in Huxiang, accidentally turned over a book one day. When he reread Gao Shi's poem, Gao Shi had already died, so he wrote the poem "Paying back the reward for the people in Gao Shu" to express his grief. Since then, the story of Gaudu's daily chorus has become a much-told story in the poetry circle.
"the spring breeze of the golden water is occupied by the public, and I will return to the thatched cottage every day." During the Xianfeng period of Qing Dynasty, He Shaoji, who was then studying politics in Sichuan, drew up the above couplets on his way back to Chengdu in Guozhou (Nanchong). He is familiar with the allusions of people's day singing in Gaudu. After arriving in Rong, he stayed in the suburbs, and waited until the seventh day of the seventh day before entering the thatched cottage. As soon as this couplet came out, scholars and writers competed to follow suit, and gathered in the thatched cottage every year to recite poems and pay tribute to the poets. Since then, it has become a high-taste cultural life of Chengdu people. After the Revolution of 1911, this custom gradually declined. Until 1992, Du Fu's Caotang Museum initiated the restoration of "Caotang People's Day" to promote the excellent traditional culture of the nation. Du Fu wrote in remembering my brothers on a moonlight night: "he knows that the dews tonight will be frost, how much brighter the moonlight is at home!." ; The poem "Moonlit Night" wrote: "far off in Fuzhou she is watching the moonlight, watching it alone from the window of her chamber." Expressed his thoughts and hopes for his loved ones on a moonlit night, with poetic euphemism and twists and turns and touching words. At the same time, Du Fu, the sage of poetry, is an elegant scholar in the piano, and he became attached to the piano. All the sages of poetry throughout the ages have the elegant feelings of "poetry adds interest to the piano, and the piano urges poetry". It is the poet's interest in playing the piano that has left us with a poetic cultural treasure that will last forever. "Alcoholism is good for relaxation, playing the piano is different from the world" and "the storm is far away, and the piano is a little empty." When the water comes out, Kunshan gives birth to a phoenix. " ..... These are the poems that Du Fu chanted in the wonderful piano sound.
The Mid-Autumn Festival "Listening to the Qin in the Caotang" was held every year since 27. The activity focused on the performance of the Guqin and featured the elegant harmony of poetry, showing the rich cultural connotation given to the Guqin by the Caotang, so that the guests could quietly experience the meaning of peace when they entered the Caotang in the environment of good news and elegant ancient charm.
