1. Quality language
The language of poetry is a highly condensed language. It often has the characteristics of suggestiveness, jumpiness, ambiguity, and metaphorical stability. Sentence patterns include inversion and omission.
The understanding of poetry sentences is equivalent to classical Chinese translation, but it is not completely equivalent to classical Chinese translation. It must be completed on the premise of fully understanding the artistic conception of the poem, and must not be misinterpreted. Therefore, first understand the language and the translation must be accurate, and then taste the language.
However, the students in the cram school are very poor in ancient Chinese. "Zou Jixiu is more than eight feet tall." He would translate it into, "Zou Jixiu is more than eight feet tall." "Doesn't exist", he translated, "the redundant monuments, and laments that the ancient books don't exist." It may be even harder for these students to ask him to understand ancient poems.
To appreciate the language of poetry, we must also grasp the choice of words, sentences, rhetorical techniques, etc.
2. Clear images
Category the images
Bright moon, flowing water, setting sun; plum, orchid, bamboo, chrysanthemum, cuckoo, wild goose, climbing , lean on the railing, etc.
3. Understanding the artistic conception
The artistic conception refers to the overall situation of the poem that is organically combined with the images that entrust the author's thoughts and emotions. Appreciate artistic conception and grasp the relationship between meaning and image, emotion and scene. Pay attention to the color of the imagery. Warm colors indicate liveliness, positivity, and high spirits; cold colors represent indifference, negativity, decadence, loneliness, and desolation.
We should grasp the artistic conception through imagination and association. Get involved in poetry, painting, and emotions, and understand the meaning of poetry and painting. Therefore, when reading poetry, you must read the color of the picture and the color of emotion. I joke to my students that when reading poetry, one must read the "color" and "emotion" of the poem. In other words: what scenes are written, what emotions are expressed, what pictures are composed, and what techniques are used.
4. Distinguish techniques
Expression techniques, that is, artistic techniques, must be sorted out for students.
5. Pay attention to standards
(1) Standardize answers
Such as analysis of technical steps
①Accurately point out what techniques were used .
②Explain why this technique is used based on the poem.
③How can this technique effectively convey the poet's emotions?
For example, teacher Wang Jing analyzed the pattern of emotional changes in poetry: This poem expresses, then expresses.
(2) Pay attention to the level of answering questions
Opinion + analysis + evaluation
(3) Pay attention to the standard of language
Succinct and vivid , speak professional jargon and use terminology.
