According to historical records, Su Dongpo is a scholar, but he loves medical skills. Proficient in a variety of prescriptions, often giving people prescriptions. He never asked for a doctor when he was ill, but wrote his own prescription.
In the fourth year of Yuan You (1089), Su Dongpo arrived in Hangzhou for the second time. In the first month of the fifth year of Yuan You, a serious plague broke out in Hangzhou due to the continuous harm of floods and droughts. The main symptoms of patients are cold hands and feet, abdominal pain and diarrhea, fever and aversion to cold, and joint pain. This is a terrible cold epidemic, and there is nothing the local doctors can do about it. God sent Suzhou satrap to save the people from danger. Dongpo personally prescribed a prescription called "giving birth to three sons", which was mainly used to treat the plague. He asked the monks of Baoshishan Erythema Hospital in Hangzhou to boil medicine in a cauldron, and then put it on the streets of Hangzhou City to distribute medicine to the people for epidemic prevention. Regardless of men, women and children, each person took a big bowl to avoid miasma. Dongpo's medicine takes effect quickly, and drinking a big bowl for mild illness takes effect quickly. Just eat a few bowls for a serious illness. The plague was subdued by Su Shi's "holy scattered son", and "there are countless people alive".
The origin of the prescription "giving birth to three sons" is also very famous. Dongpo got it from others. This is included in the Soviet Union and the Soviet Union.
