As a thinker, Mr. Yangming left us many valuable classics, but his pen, ink and letters were few and far between. From now until February 28th, we can see an unprecedented collection of Wang Yangming's calligraphy works in the solo exhibition "The Way of Sages-The Story of Yangming's Mind" held in Shaoxing Museum. According to curator Shen, this exhibition is an original special exhibition of Shaoxing Museum. More than 50 pieces (sets) of Mr. Yangming's calligraphy works, rubbings and works are exhibited, including nearly 10 pieces of first-class cultural relics. The Palace Museum lent six precious cultural relics for this exhibition. It is worth mentioning that famous works such as Poems of Leaving Longjiang in the Palace Museum, Poems of Refusing Horse to Return to the DPRK in the Guangdong Provincial Museum, Poems of Conscience in the Hubei Provincial Museum, and Poems of Mr. Luo Laofeng in Xigang, Zhejiang Provincial Museum are all exhibited for the first time.
Xu Wei once commented: "Wang Xizhi built books with people, and Wang Shouren (Yangming) built books with people." Wang Yangming's book is full of vigor and urgency, saying that "Su Shixian's life is full of aura, so his rhyme is high and harmonious". Wang Yangming thinks: always go to school with your heart.
From the heart, what inspiration did his words and thoughts give us?
Wang Yangming's calligraphy is just like a book.
Calligraphy in Ming dynasty, which advocated the study of calligraphy art, often used cursive script. Outstanding people can catch up with the Jin and Tang Dynasties, especially the beauty of bamboo slips, surpassing the Tang and Song Dynasties. The most famous early writers are Song Ke, Song Yi and Song Guang, and Er Shen (and Shen Meili). By the middle period, famous Wumen schools such as Zhu Yunming, Wang Chong appeared, and they were unique and far-reaching with their superb calligraphy leaders. At the same time, there are also a group of famous Confucian scholars who regard calligraphy as a spare art and have no intention of becoming a famous calligrapher. They are all famous for their moral articles and loyalty and neo-Confucianism, and their calligraphy often reveals their temperament and knowledge, and they do have distinct personalities in calligraphy attainments, among which Wang Yangming is an outstanding representative.
Wang Yangming's calligraphy was praised by people of insight at that time. Xu Wei, a famous painter in the middle and late Ming Dynasty, commented on Yangming's book cloud: "The ancients said that the right army covered its people with books, but Mr. Xinjian (Yangming) did not. If a person covers his book and looks at his ink, he must be graceful and graceful, so that he is not as good as the book, and the book has been passed on. " Obviously, Wang Yangming's calligraphy is extraordinary because his knowledge and lofty personality prestige cover up the authenticity of his title. During the Ming and Qing Dynasties, the famous scholar Gui Zhuang was fascinated by Wang Yangming's calligraphy. He said: "Mr. Yang Ming is a generation of Confucian scholars, and his calligraphy also has works. Isn't art the Tao? " I can't learn the Tao, but I can write the topic. I am ashamed to be an artist, I dare not! "It can be seen that I admired Yangming's calligraphy at that time. According to the Chronicle of Wang Wencheng Gongquanshu, when 17 years old, Wang Yangming collected several reed papers from his uncle's office in Hongdu, and took the books every other day. When he came back, all the reed papers were empty, and his calligraphy made great progress. Yang Ming tried to show it to the scholar and said, "I started to learn books and stuck to the old patterns until I got a shape." After that, I raised my pen and didn't drop the paper lightly. I meditated, thought for a moment, and thought for a moment in my heart. After a long time, I learned the method. "
