Tang Dynasty: Du Fu
What I am familiar with is that Maozhai is extremely low and small, and swallows come frequently on the river.
Dirty piano books with mud, even catching flying insects and hitting people.
Translation:
Swallows on the river know that my hut is too low and too small, so they often fly here to nest. The mud that swallows brought into their nests stained my piano and books. They kept chasing flying insects and touching people.
Appreciate:
This poem is full of emotion. The poet put pen to paper from swallows and described their frequent flying into the study of the thatched cottage, soiling the piano books, "beating people" and other activities in a delicate and realistic way. These descriptions not only highlight the lovely state of swallows, but also vividly show their love for the study in the thatched cottage.
Close relationship with poets. The whole poem is permeated with a strong flavor of life, giving people a natural and cordial feeling, and also revealing the joy and leisure of the poet's stable life in the thatched cottage.

Writing background:
This quatrain was written in the second year of Du Fu's living in Chengdu Caotang, that is, the second year of Dai Zong Shang Yuan (76 1). The title is "Wandering", which means writing casually when you are happy. Don't write all, don't write all, and it's not the same time. Judging from the contents of these nine poems, there is a second place where it can be found that it was written in spring.
This poem describes the disturbing scene that swallows frequently fly into the study of the thatched cottage. The first sentence said that Mao Zhai was extremely low and narrow, and he was "familiar", but it was just the words of swallows. Even the swallows on the river are familiar with the height of this thatched cottage, so it is probably more suitable for nesting here! So the second sentence goes on to say, "The reasons are frequent." Swallows often come, which naturally causes their owners' troubles.
Three or four sentences describe in detail the activities of swallows in the layer: not counting the nest stained with mud, flying insects are chased and even people are touched. The poet made a delicate and vivid description with clear spoken language, giving people a cordial and realistic feeling; And through real feelings, it reminds people of this low and small Mao Zhai. Because Jiang Yan often intrudes, it is difficult for the host to take shelter.
In this way, the plight of the thatched cottage is written, and the poet's mood is much more disturbing. There is a poem in Wang Si's Du Yi in the Ming Dynasty: "People who live far away live alone and meet each other for a while, and there are many unhappy people." This unpleasantness is caused by the guests' worries, and it is also a lie to attract birds by Yan.
Du Fu (7 12-770), with beautiful words, is called "Du Gongbu" and "Du Shaoling" in the world. Born in Fugong County, Henan Province (now gongyi city, Henan Province), he was a great realistic poet in the Tang Dynasty. Du Fu is regarded as a "poet saint" by the world, and his poems are called "the history of poetry".
