Dukang wine has a long history. During the Three Kingdoms period, Cao Cao famously said, "Du Kang is the only way to solve your worries". According to legend, Du Kang was the founder of China's brewing with grain. In those days, Du Kang's brewing place was in Du Kang Village, Caidian Township, Ruyang. Surrounded by three mountains, one water and one stream, the masses have always been good at making wine. Jiuquan, the spring for brewing Dukang wine, is located in Jiuquan ditch in Du Kang village. Jiuquan water is crystal clear, sweet and pure. Every summer, you can smell a natural fragrance of Jiuquan. Dukang wine belongs to Luzhou-flavor, which is made by mixing high-quality wheat at high temperature and high temperature. Waxy sorghum is used as raw material for brewing, and advanced technologies such as "sealing the cellar with fragrant mud, entering the pool at low temperature, long-term fermentation, continuous steaming, wine selection according to quantity, graded storage, aging esterification and careful blending" are adopted. Since 1987, Luoyang has held the "China Du Kang Wine Festival" every year.
