Liu Changqing's Translation of Ancient Poems

The willow has just sprouted, its branches and leaves are sparse, and it has not yet become a shade. The crucian carp and shad in the pond have been playing and swimming in spring, like the reflection of willows in the water. Suddenly, the first thunder of spring awakened all things in the dormant world and competed for the growth of spring!

Original: On the stranger, the willow is in the spring, and the crucian carp in the pond is in the early shade. Suddenly I heard a thunderbolt from heaven, and the animals and insects dried up. ?
