The most classic poem of Yanyulou comes from Jiangnan Spring written by Du Mu, a poet in the Tang Dynasty: "Four hundred and eighty halls in the Southern Dynasties, how many buildings are misty and rainy." This poem tells the feelings of the bottom of my heart through rain and balcony. Jiangnan bears the vicissitudes and heaviness of history. Yanyulou, also named after this poem, is the oldest misty and rainy place in the south of the Yangtze River, which makes Du a masterpiece for thousands of years.
