Crossing the Han River is a poem written by the Tang Dynasty poet Song. It's a lyric poem written by a poet on his way home from home a long time ago. It is intended to write homesickness, showing the poet's deep love for his hometown and relatives and the complex psychology of excitement, anxiety and timidity when the wanderer returns to his hometown far away.
Poetry appreciation
The first two sentences of this poem trace back to the life in Lingnan, denouncing the savagery, which is bad enough, not to mention being isolated from family members and being uncertain about each other's life and death. The poet does not have three meanings: the suspension of parallel space, the severance of audio books and the long time, but presents them step by step. This strengthened and deepened the feelings of loneliness and depression during exile and the yearning for hometown and relatives.
The third and fourth sentences describe the poet's psychological changes on his way home. He admits that the poet fled the relegated place and approached his hometown because he had not heard from him for a long time. The more timid you love, the closer you are to your hometown, the closer you are to your family, and the more worried you are. It just became a fear. I was afraid to ask a question.
