Origin of Eight Immortals
As we all know, Du Fu had a rough life and left a lot of blood and tears to describe his sufferings. This poem "Drinking Eight Immortals" is a rare masterpiece in Du Fu's poems. Du Fu experienced three dynasties: Xuanzong, Suzong and Daizong, and was called "the old man of three dynasties". Academic circles generally divide his life into four stages: reading and official journey (before the age of 35); Ten years trapped in Chang 'an period (35 to 44 years old); Being caught as an official (45 to 48 years old); Abandoning the official and wandering after (48 ~ 59). When Du Fu first entered Chang 'an, he was full of ideals, frivolous and unruly, and happened to meet Li Bai and other talented people, so with reverence, he wrote this song "Eight Immortals Drinking" in a semi-humorous and semi-realistic style.
This poem describes the drunken state of the Eight Immortals in Chang 'an at that time. There are two sentences of knowing Zhang, three sentences of Ruyang, three sentences of Zong, two sentences, four sentences of Li Bai, three sentences of Zhang Xu and two sentences of Jiao Sui, and there are not many strokes, each of which shows its immortal meaning.

Ruyang wanglifu
Li Xian, the king of Ruyang, is the nephew of Emperor Xuanzong of the Tang Dynasty and the grandson of Tang Ruizong, the eldest son of Zhen Emperor Li Xian. Li Xian, with his delicate features, was deeply loved by the emperor. He can't drink well. He sold three buckets of wine to see the son of heaven. As a result, he was drunk at the foot of the son of heaven and could not move. Xuanzong ordered someone to tell him that he apologized awkwardly and said, "I was brave with three fights, but I don't think so." On the way back to my house, I saw a car loaded with distillers' yeast, and I was still clamoring for moving the fief to Jiuquan.

"It turned out that because of his straightforward personality, he offended Li, the right phase, and was just taken. Although the former guests knew that he was innocent, they were afraid to go to * * * to drink because of Li's influence, and even had no way. On this day, he drank to the point of alcohol and felt the darkness of officialdom, so he recited the poem casually. I didn't expect it to kill him after all.
Cui Zongzhi
Cui Zongzhi, the son of Cui Ri in Qi Huangong, is not only handsome, but also has the temperament of a scholar in Wei and Jin Dynasties. He likes to take Ruan Ji as an example. When he is drunk, he sees vulgar people, regardless of position, and then stares at the sky with white eyes.
Su Jin
Su Jin, assistant minister of the household department, likes to study pagoda art, study Buddhist scriptures, abstain from fasting and be vegetarian, indulge in drinking and often violate the rules. He once got a Buddhist sutra embroidered by Hui Cheng, a famous western monk. After reading it, he muttered to himself, "This monk likes to drink rice soup, which is exactly my temperament. I will learn his Buddhism from now on, and I don't want to read any other Buddhist books. "

Li Bai, an imperial scholar, is good at writing poems. Where there is wine, there must be poems. After spending all his money in Chang 'an market, he shook his head and went to sleep. Once Xuanzong and Yang Guifei were sitting in Chenxiang Temple, which made him feel something and ordered him to write poems. He is still half drunk and half awake, calling himself Brewmaster. After being dragged to the emperor, he was still wanting more. The emperor ordered people to pour cold water on his face and serve him with pen and ink. I shouted three or five times, and the "head" walked away from the dragon snake, just like a huge magic pen on the paper, and my mouth was blurred. In an instant, a masterpiece was born.

Jiao Sui was tongue-tied, but strangely, every time he got drunk, he was eloquent, rewarded like a note, and talked with Kan Kan, which stunned all the guests present.
